Engine warning light :(....incorrect SAI flow and pressure drop between DV and turbo after this!

No difference in engine or performance with the CEL on but may just do the SAI removal and hole for the best

It's probably due to removing all that lovely piping off the N249/N112. It's probably the SAI on mine that is triggering the CEL though.

I've tried 2 DVs and same each time.

I can live with it for the time being i suppose

I had the sai incorrect flow code. The small braided hose which you put a bolt in (next to the two bigger hoses you remove) needs to have vacuum. Cut you line to your DV and put in a T piece and remove the blocked braided hose. Then connect another bit of vac pipe from that T to where you remove the small braided hose. This solved my code. Hope it makes sense and works for you

When I did it on my gti mk4 I never had any problems at all. Its crazy how all cars are the same but different. All the ibiza I do are the same. Some can run with out n249 others with out.

The one with the bolt on you wont have a problem with when you remove all the sai rubbish.
