If you need a new one at some point I see euro car parts are selling genuine bosh ones on eBay. £78 delivered I think they are, thought that was quite a good price.

Yeah someone else pointed that out to me last week too mate but cheers :)

Not a bad price I think when I bought mine from TPS it was £90.

Not done much at all on the car recently other than drive it once a week or so and it's been feeling pretty good so I took advantage of the fine weather today (15 degrees and sunshine!) to give the old girl a clean and get a couple of bits done.

Rear washer jet had popped off a while ago so I got the trim off in the boot and reconnected it with a good old cable tie for good measure.

The R32 Konig seats haven't been treated for a good while so I got this done today. Gliptone shampoo and then conditioner all done. They look and smell lovely again :D

And just how she stands at the moment, not really any different to last year lol.

I might ditch the 'cupra' and 'R' badge on the boot that the LCR MK1 originlly came with and replace them with the MK2 LCR 'R' badge but I'm not 100% yet. I'm not going to be doing much more than small things like this now on the car which is really helping the funds for a house! I need to order the charge pipe to dv forge hoses too. Oh and an LED bulb for the boot...

Cheers for reading.

EDIT* Just ordered the Forge charge pipe to DV hoses and also a cool white LED festoon for the boot interior bulb, who said I've stopped ;)

Looking good. And about the MK2 "R" badge. Maybe its to grey all together. I love some red details on a car. Otherwise it becomes a grey mouse:D

Quick update... I fitted my Ulraleds' white festoon LED 42mm bulb for the interior boot light and am well happy with it so much brighter and better like my number plate ones :)

Also fitted the N75 to charge pipe ancillary Forge hoses I ordered... turns out there may have been a split in one of the old ones (I haven't checked yet) as the car has a shed load more boost now, feels a lot quicker. Will check the old hoses later for a split.

Crap old yellow bulb

New cool white led

Bent the charge pipe bracket out a little as the lower ancillary Forge hose didn't want to fit without being squashed which I wasn't happy about. Pleased to get these done finally.

Still got the Forge brake vacuum hose to fit next, but pretty pleased with this for now :)

Nice one Tom. A hose I never thought about but like you say, might be good to futureproof. About £20? Car's looking great and it's good to hear that you're still interested in it :)

Cheers mate. The Forge hoses like all of theirs are stronger and don't 'collapse' like the oem stuff, that's why I did it really but there might have been a split in the old ones anyway it seems. Mine were around £40 for both but I only wanted Forge as most of my other hoses are from them aswell. Fit and forget like they advertise..

The warmer weather and a bit of neglect for the car over the winter have kicked me on to get things sorted for the summer season ahead. So far so good :)

God that spec list just keeps getting bigger mate! Have you noticed with the LED boot light that it dims down when you keep the boot open?

Looking very good though dude!

There's probably a couple of things I've missed out too..

The boot LED does do that I noticed, but it's still brighter than the oem one when it does lol. Although I noticed with the ignition on it doesn't seem to do it.

Cheers though mate :)

It's only the boot light that does that for some reason, not good when your trying to find something in there!
