Seeing as the car is now behaving again, I treated it to a bank holiday clean today.

10 points to anyone who can spot the new addition in the engine bay pic :)

looks nice that dose mate! What software have you got knocking around to re set the T/B?have you just the genuine vag com on cd or a copy and plugged into your laptop I guess and so on?
dose the car corner even better with the rear strut brace bolted to the car?i might be looking into be getting one, the front aids the car big time :)I found

Cheers mate. I've got a genuine ;) copy for windows 7. You just need to plug it into the OBD port and to the USB on the laptop and go from there.. Very simple to do a lot of the tasks. :)

Rear brace helps yeah, turn in is sharper with the braces I found. If you've done the front you should go and do the back.

So glad you got it running sweet again mate, and got the love back again

Love the photos. :) :)

Cheers mate :)

I took my forge dv relocation kit off today and went back to the oem dv position, and I must say the car feels better for it and makes loads more noise. I've not been totally happy with the way the car has held boost and wondered what it'd be like back to the previous setup, I'm happier now after a good drive earlier. Car feels sweet :)

I've got my eye on something at the moment as the next purchase for the car which I hope comes off!

Don't think a well prepared Stage 2 equipped LCR can be bettered! Glad it's running again man.

Intrigued with the 'eye on' purchase.... Hhhhhmmmm

If you keep this only one thing is needed and that comes in the form of Recaro CS's please.... PLEASE ;)

Cheers mate.

I always have an eagle eye open for a good deal and it seems I have got another one!

But no, it's not Recaro CS's! More than happy with my 32 interior ;)

James' turbo set up? ;)

No mate, far too much £££! Quality setup, really is, but just not possible for me currently.

Thats already gone ;)

Yeah it sure has mate.

So I couldn't let Darren be the only one having a liquid gauge party right now so I've literally just bought one off someone on ebay! :D

Had my eye on them for a long time but Darren got to James L's before me, but I have not made the mistake again and swooped tonight :p

Cracking car fella! Very much an inspiration in which led me to buy an LCR myself!

why you take it off dude, you said it felt like another half bar of boost had been added when you fitted it??

also did you and dk go down to dyno dynamics to get the cars rollered?? what sort of numbers did you guys make??

It wasn't the re locate kit that gave me the boost. I had a split in the original cam cover breather hose which was also replaced for a forge hose at the same time as the re locate went on.. Car has felt strange lately so swapped it back to oem dv position.

Not been near other dynos and don't want to either. Why?
