It definitely looks more horizontal than my front number plate, so must be fine...

Think it's the angle I held the camera which was focussing on the badge.

The flag is still the original as fitted to the car and the 280 lines up with it spaced as per instructions.

Waiting for the postie to turn up as hoping mine will arrive today. Then I can fit it before our little trip to France tomorrow. How did you ensure the gap between was accurate? I assume a little 2mm spacer which can be removed once stuck on?

Held the new badge over. It comes with a clear window so you can line it up. Then did it by eye.

Ah well, badge didn't turn up today, so le gendarmerie will think it's a 265.

Just got back from our trip to France. Badge arrived while we were away but no instructions and no plastic window for lining it up. I was thinking of cutting a 2mm spacer out of card and just going for it. What do the instructions say about heating the badge before applying?
