I have what is said to be a MIB2 entry in my facelift.
5F0035871B
MEN2_EU_SE_P6170L
v7060
Odbeleven claims there is a v7200.
I have issues with the bluetooth functionality,
How do I find the newer sw? There only seem to be a MEN2 file for polo.
Hi Eskil, did you manage to find newer sw after all ? I have the same sw that you had and cannot find newer anywhere on the internet

It's 516. You can get it free off the MIB enthusiasts site mibsolutions.one

MST2_EU_SE_ZR_P0516T

Put MST2_EU_SE_ZR_P0516T in the search bar. Bottom one on that screen shown.

The SE means it's Seat. EU Europe. MST2 for your unit ZR and T means production or something like that. SK is Skoda so you keep off them.

It's only one on from what you have got. That's the final one. Unzip with 7zip but built in Windows 10 or 11 would be fine. On to an SD card etc. Info on the thread about that. Keep the engine running or on a charger.... reboots a few times. Suppose to be more stable with android auto others say 515 is better. If you aren't having issues I wouldn't bother.

That will be a Mib1 by the date. I'm going to pass on this one - anyone. It's a basic system without sat nav I reckon. Not sure whether the software is in the mibsolutions database.

Yeah it's the basic system as you said, i'd like to change it but i only found the Alpine model (Alpine iLX-702LEON) which is plug and play, but for me is really too expensive. If you or anyone else know other model which fits without problems i'm up to it :)

Thank you anyway for the answer!

I've come across threads of people fitting Chinese units. You might want to exam them. Mib1 and that slot is before my time. Basically if it works and pass on how reliable they are you end up with an Android based infotainment system 🤔.

The one before that was set up using Mega which were also pretty slow. Try late at night or in the working day.

In German the Digital Eliteboard has threads on mib software. You might find a mega link on that. My experience with mega downloads isn't good and if its big, mega try to sell you bandwidth. I did get some stuff down that way before the mib solution site opened / got better

Or for £19-95 one of the boards sponsors 480...

They have guides on the website as well on putting the update in the unit etc.

Btw don't jump trains. Like 4xx to 5xx. It can't be done on standard releases. It bricks the unit then you do need s retrofitter to take it apart and short specific pins. Instructions on the net.

There are modified trains where you'd probably find discussion on the Digital EliteBoard. I know one Skoda person popped up on the Briskoda board who had jumped trains and it had a mod to not use SD cards with a CID. Their stumbling block was map file presentation but after that it was happy to work with the maps on a usb. VW had also missed out their country from the map file so it appeared that it wasn't working when it was. The mib2 enthusiasts generate these modified firmware by bypassing the SLA1 checks now. It's those that appear on websites and libraries. You can inspect the file. If after a row of signatures is shown you see the script carrying on then they have bypassed the signature check. It is an exploit they discovered.

Here is actually some guide how to have better download speed -> https://mibwiki.one/share/99dda9a7-06e2-4673-a5df-2ea7e0eb18cb
I was using it myself and can say, that it worked like charm :)
Download managers... not that I forgot 🙄. I was given one to use once. It's a Firefox extension. That was handy on their old site then they moved servers. I'm sure their recommended one is just as good.....

The one I was recommended for Firefox and I do routinely use it by default:

MST2_EU_SE_SR_P0253T is the newest firmware for your unit

you will find it in: mibsolution.one > mqb_solution > mst2 - technisat preh > firmware > seat_zr

i found firmware called MST2_EU_SE_ZR_P0253T_MU0253.7z
when flashing the firmware should i get an external power source or just start ignition (cause i dont have a power supply ) :)

External power source, not start the engine (i never put an external power but be sure that your battery is goed, and it's not recommended!)

You need to patch your file after updating in 369. Just have a look on the mibsolution.one site :)
