That is the SVM error.

You can get them nested so you have to keep looping round into the decode im so xory to clear etc, you can get a different clear code each time. The mib tool high toolbox does have a function that automates clearing them. It did get rid of my difficult one. Recomputes the clear value itself, does a reboot... may be more than once as I recall.

Saving that I got one back again from somewhere, haven't bothered to clear it. The unit works quite happily with it if you can't get it to go away.

The problem with 1447 as it stood without the 1447 AIO adjustment was the installation assumed a screen at the end of installation which you had to adjust to, plus the missing languages in the release, you had to dive back to the prior release to 1447 using SWDL manual download to back fill the missing languages plus you then had to use Mib Tool for the FeC work. The European enthusiast group sorted all of that out.

Think 1447 in its original form hadn't been finished off and was only aimed as an incremental release for those with a Cupra screen and at the prior release which had the missing language files in it. Hence why it worked for some but not for others. Some quarters of the enthuast network wouldn't accept that 1447 in it original form had missing files. The Digital Elite board and this thread you could see that being said, where clearly there was only one 1447 release and it had the missing language files 😂. Not two releases (You could check the signature of the release linked to the Digital Elite board and Mib Solution to see they were all one of the same release). All sorted out now. Enthusiasts have just got mib3 to sort out now 🤣.

So guys again, when I did the update to my son's Cupra to 1447 AIO can I update his maps somehow? He has them from 2015 too! I don't know when I uploaded him that AIO if I can use the 2022 maps from my Columbus for the Skoda car? I am just downloading them from the Skoda server for my vRS230 ! Or somewhere i can download the maps for his Seat Cupra ?

The mib2 high maps are interchangeable so yes you can. It's all the same release but we do have a resource and thread:

You pick the link up from

"Mib2 High / Seat Plus Map Update"

& you now have the lifetime navigation FeCs with the 1447 AIO release.

Pass on screen hardware questions. Let someone else answer that one.

Is it a mib2 standard, if so then you must keep the firmware update within train else it will kill your unit. If a Mib2 high (aka Seat Plus) then you can jump trains.

See Mibsolution link above and discussion. Illustrations of both being updated.

The unit i have is the 0252 i believe i can upgrade to 0253 on this one, not sure though as the unit was sent away to be hacked a few years ago, I'm wondering if upgrading to 0253 will remove the hacking already done.

The 8" screen requires the tiled version of software i am aware this is a later edition so wondering what is the latest mib2 unit i can buy and diy patch, i will keep the existing 6.5" unit and mib2 unit to put back into the car if i ever sell it.

can 0516 units be diy patched ?

There is a translated how to on moving mib2 standard trains if you look back. You need programming skills. Thus 5xx is off unless you got those skills. East Yorkshire Retrofit do have a paid service for that.

"If you would like to add the newer "Tile Menu" to your 02XX unit we offer this via a postal service at a higher price. This service updates your unit to 04XX or 05XX."

Stipulates it's not DIY. The process moves stuff around in memory blocks and if you do an upgrade off train it leads to problems.

I don't reckon that bit is DIY, probably have to have the unit on a workbench and suspect they run retrofitters software on it to shift memory locations around. You read that on the thread. Python was being used. I think what's on the thread is a translation, Not that anybody did it on the thread from memory. These are toolkits that retrofitters sell to each other. That's why hobbyists get uptight if they think their not for profit software is being sold.

Lastly if the adjustments were FeCs it should still read them within train.

If I ever upload a new version of sw via AIO, will I break the patch, or will it stay there? I'd hate to lose sport monitoring and free map upload! Or will I have to wait for a new AIO or for a patch for that sw?

Good question I'd wait to see what people say when you find it. Mib Tool apparently gets deleted in a firmware update but I suspect the FeCs remain. FeCs sit in a different piece of memory so reckon you would be fine. The problem with the original 1447 was on the installation screen and the missing languages whether that is sorted or not we'll see else I guess an "AIO" version will have to be generated by whoever. Failing that I expect they would have a Mib Tool solution as per the later releases of the Mib Tools for the FeCs, but I reckon the FeCs stay put in a subsequent firmware update.

I see 1447 AIO hides behind a different MibSolution login screen... hadn't totally picked up on its movement.

As the British proverb goes "fools rush in where angles fear to tread". You could always revert back if you find an issue when you find the firmware. It's not usual for that Obdeleven screen to find people running firmware that isn't widely available at first. It happended on mib2 standard firmware 516.

Can be installed like normal FW update process!

All-In-One features:
- addFecs.txt in /common/tools/ can be adjusted as needed. Change add FECS with e.g. notepad.
- Skin 4 (Carbon) will be configured to avoid boot up issues.
- CarPlay and AndroidAuto will be enabled during the installation.
- Developer Mode with GEM (hidden Green Engineering Menu) will be enabled during the installation. No need for OBDeleven, VCDS, VCP.
- M.I.B. - More Incredible Bash will be installed.

Version: 20220319

What was indexed much further up vanished but it's on the page.

----

I suspect 1453 will be up to 6 months before you see anything in the wild but I could be wrong. @Chillout might know. Digital Eliteboard was silent on 1453. I'll keep trundling on 1338.
