They look great Stezo. Even better than I thought they would.

I'm sold on this mod now. :D

Cheers fella, they'll look fantastic when they're fitted tomorrow i'm sure.

I'll upload a pic soon :)

It's the stuff I used for my headlights. Was a bugger to apply as they were nicely curved lol

Ah sweet :) I hate curved lights, makes it much harder to apply but i've done a pretty good job I think. Have got a couple of small bubbles but it's no issue. Do the bubbles go away like it says in the instructions? Nice one

I have considered it although with the new black theme i'm thinking of getting them gloss black, I think that would look mint

I'll have to do a photoshop to see what it looks like, either that or do it in vinyl wrap heh

Lights look cracking mate. Good job!

I've just had my side mouldings colour coded along with the door handles, make a massive difference. Need to put some pics up in my RR...

Cheers geeza :D I know they're not majorly tinted compared to the smoked ones but I think the match the car very nicely. I was thinking of changing the lights for the cupra ones but the red ones suit my car so much better

Sounds good to me, up some pics when you can :D

Update:

After spending from 11 - 4PM rewiring, removing the centre section and cocking up a few times (accidentally cutting the wrong handbrake sensor wire doh) i've finally got DVDs working on my stereo :D

Can't believe I had to do this to get to get DVDs to play:

Finally up and running (guess the movie :p) :

Relocated my sub, sacrificing safety over sound :D at least it's a lot more stable now and doesn't move about too much (although looks messy haha)

As said, the lights look great dude.. tho now its making me unsure.. they look like the facelift lights, which i have, but i dunno whether to go for subtle tint or dark smoke.. ideally I'd like something in between... hmmmm  wht size did u get for urs?

Cheers fella :) yeah I was thinking of getting facelift lights because of the blood red colour matching my car better but this was the cheaper option for me :p

The smoked lights look awesome but i'm not sure if it'll be too dark, they look amazing on the cupra lights because they're white as standard but i'm not sure how the smoked would look on the red. I would of gone for the smoked effect but I did worry if it was going to look too dark

that's a bit of a hassle to get that to work, what did you have to do in the end?
(I remember when my seats were that colour :cloud9:)

Heh too right matey. Had to take out the flap at the back, take out the screws and ashtray front and back, take part of the gear knob out (which took ages as i forgot how to get it out), removed the under handbrake cover (which was very stiff), angle the surround to save scratching anything, then when I joined the handbrake sensor i had joined the wrong wire (oddly brown wasn't live, mandess), then I completely cut the sensor wire because my wire trimmers are pants, after that just rewire my sub and tidy up the car (which really needed doing) and it was all good :D

Tell you what though, spending that time outside has given me a chill. I can't get warm now :p

Edit:

Btw maverick i've found a picture of the smoked laminx on a facelift on here, heres a pic:

Yeah it is pretty nice buddy. I had the safe option haha. I went for the 12"x26" for the rear lights. Leaves you with around 2" to play with. A lot cheaper than buying precut

You no you don't have to wire the head unit to the handbrake cable just putting it to earth or in with the aerial wire would make it work that way you can use it with out having the handbreak on , like the rear lights mate

Nah it doesn't buddy, not on the Pioneer ones sadly. Already tried it when i first got it, it requires a relay circuit and switch else it won't work. I thought I might as well do it as i've got plenty of wires at the back of the stereo already
