Hey Stephen, hope you're all well and the car is going great. With my birthday coming up im looking at a Pioneer AVH-P4200 Headunit, how easy are the pioneers to install in the Ibiza?, i've installed other HU in mate's cars just never a double din or in an Ibiza.

Also will i need a facia to go around the unit (If so where from?) Also will i need an aerial adapter/booster?
I thought you were the man to ask because of your amazing pioneer unit.

Alright fella yeah the cars awesome, doing a lot of miles lately haha

Ooh very nice, good choice of headunit. I found mine very easy to fit, the wiring was identical to my old single DIN unit I had before. Only pain I found was wiring it to the parking break to make DVDs work which isn't too hard if you know what and where to remove things.

As for the facia, my unit came with one in the box (although I had to cut it down slightly) as for an aerial booster it works without one but if you use the radio a lot I would recommend getting one, if you do get one try and get the smallest one you can as it will make the headunit harder to push further back

Thanks bud, I decided to go for the Pioneer AVH-3200BT which will be delivered today. I've got an aerial adaptor to use and I intend to bypass the handbrake cable. Not for watching dvd's its just effort to get it all the way to the handbrake. Hopefully it will arrive soon!
