Mate I'm using 750cc injectors , raised fuel pressure and twin 044 Bosch pumps and it was in the 90+% on injector duty at 500bhp. Turned it back to 480 for safety. Personally I'd use 1000cc over 525bhp

620cc on 4bar were not enough for mine to break 500bhp. 750cc were dropped in and it was ok (when on me7)

Ok thanks guys, good thing I started this thread before I dropped the car to JBS!

If I went for 750cc injectors, are there a few options available or any good recommended ones?

I keep seeing RC engineering ones, not sure if they would fit or not tho

I use 750 cc RC ones and I find tghem very good. They fit ok as they have the same bosch plug but you will have to make some spacers to put between the inlet manifold and your fuel rail to lift it slightly as they are taller.

I thought that the idle anmd low speed driving would be a nightmare with a 80mm throttlr body and 750cc injectors but I was suprised how well mannored it is.

Another thing that took me a while to get used to ingaugeing the launch control at the light as the clucth and Throttle have to be pressed very quickly at the same time to activate the launch..U'd know your self as you can see it blinking but be warned...Ive never known a Blue LED to be so god damn bright so mines in the cuddy hole out of the way.

I wonder if this is my problem as when I have tried it I have had the clutch pressed they apply full throttle and it doesnt work. When I get home I will give it a try as you say pressing them at the same time and see if that works.

Anyone else use the Wot box and have tghis problem ?

Hi thanks for the heads up, I am running @ 4bar so I assumed 630's are enough for 550..

Any recomendations on good injectors to use?

I should be going inters if my car's mapped by then, is this on the 28th at bruntingthorpe?
I was just thinking I would enter the sprint and in the polo class, but your gonna beat me!!!!

Yes inters is 27/28th I think at Bruntingthorpe. I think I will be just there one sunday and will be running the sprint. I was going to apply for the polo class but I dont know if they will let me run.

Hell Yeah...

If your just slightly on the gas between changes(normal driving) it will cut the ignition and come back on(quick enough so you can feel it)..So your foot has to be all the way off wen changing as if it detects uve wot shifted and not changed quick enough it will cut it for a breif moment..

But if uve got the Throttle on 80% and quickly dip the clutch jesus the spit you get out of the exhaust it loud ive never heard anything like it....then Followed by a flame :D

On gear changes i was seeing 14psi on changes instead of 0psi so it was a monster once spooled up...
I 1st started it off at 250ms On changes but it was too slow Normal gearbox changes is near 450ms(human shifting)...So mines set @ 170ms now and its just right...
you can tell when you've sped up the wot shift to fast as it will crunch wen goin in to gear (When WOT Shifting)So id start at 250ms and work you way down to how you want it...

now the launch control is real fun but you cant have it on for long 5 seconds maxiums as it will detect a Missfire and go in to Gimp mode..The launch controls set @ 3500rpm and is at 7psi on the gauge instead of -0 vac..so once your off the line you on the power kinda instanly..

Normally when the lights are just changing But it does take alot of experiance...But its a Awesome peice of kit for £140...

Its in no way means a anti-lag but defo keeps you on the power once going...

Give it a few Weeks of driving with it all setup then you will get the hang of it..I did
not sure i can be bothered to get it fitted now, seems a bit of a ball ache:think:

Just had this reply back from N2MB Racing

No, that is incorrect. Can you send me the link to the thread and I will reply to it?

You can push down the clutch first and then go to WOT after. However, you must push the clutch down when the engine is below 1500 RPM in order to not have the lockout engage and prevent the launch control from turning on.

Thats right, I just keep the clutch pressed to the floor then press the gas and the launch control is activated, no need to press together, just the clutch has to be first...

very easy and clever piece of kit!

Hi all, I will be going inters tomorrow, even tho my car looks ready for the scrap yard!!

I had a crazy week, I took my car to get the tracking checked and they somehow managed to drop an engine crane on the rear quater [:@].... VW fixing it, just need the their insurance company to give the go ahead...
Then I was doing 70 down the A46 and my front splitter decided to come lose, got caught under the wheel and was gone! Took my arch liner with it!
I seen 5 cars go over it and it was in pieces..... VW say £200 for a crappy splitter so thats on order!

Anyway still coming down to have a run or two, not mapped but my 3071 map is good, boosting to 1.2 bar and AFR's on 12.6-12.9 so I will keep it at that for sunday and hope for the best.

Hope to see some of you guys there!
My friend has a mk3 ibiza cupra running a gt35 2.2bar boost i think and stripped, I think the closest to bills ibiza, should be good to see how it does!

12.6-12.9 on full boost is too lean mate, needs to be below 12.I saw a red ibiza at santa pod last sunday with some strange looking manifold,is that the one?
I ran a 11.8@118 which isn't bad , going to change the cams and up the boost a tad, hoping for mid 11's at 120.
Been down to inters today saw a few quick cars,a blue r32 did a 11.9 and the black tt 11.8.

Hi Mate,
Yeah the strange looking mani - side mounted to the engine.. I think his best is 12.4.

Think I will have to lower the boost then... thanks for the input.
My old map was for 1.9bar spiking and holding 1.7 to redline, I assumed at 1.2 bar it would be ok but I guess its flowing much more than before..
Maybe I wont run tomorrow then, will you be down 2mro?

11.8 is very respectible! My friend's evo 1 managed 11.9 and thats running 1.8bar boost gt3076r.
What color is your evo, think I seen it on sunday @ pod..
