Well different combinations of spacers will give a different handling feel.

Yep that what I have at the moment, 2 sets of standard length bolts and lock nuts.
I was thinking if I stay with 3mm on front and 20mm bolt on at the rear I could get away with using the bolts/lock nuts I already have for both sets of wheels.
Not sure how that would handle though, I know you already recommended a 3mm / 12mm setup for me, which I'm still considering
Out of interest is the 20mm bolt on spacer any more or less safe then the bolt through type?

Got the plates off eBay, unsure who the seller is as I had them for my previous car. But basically the plates were made in the actual German factory where they do the normal German plates.
So I'd assume the writing is German & not uk buddy?!?
No probs at all.
Yeah just had a look and found a seller who does everything the same as the german factorys do.
Upon further investigating they are deffos german font, I havnt seen any UK font pressed plates on cars so unsure what to get. You ever got any attention from the plod for them?
Yeah true, I've had motorcycle font plates on and had no bother so think i may go for the German font, think it just looks that little bit better than uk font.

15mm front & 20mm rear on mine... both hubcentric of course
What width tyres are you running,225's ?
Are your wheels ET35 offset ?
I had UK font pressed steel plates on mine mate. Got them from Dubmiester, they were legal as well with the BS standard stamp.
Yep tyres are 225 and I believe the oem starfish alloys are ET35 or there abouts buddy!?

So i reckon 15mm spacers all round for me
How wide it too wide. I mean I'm running offset 35 on 19" team dynamics imola wheels. 225/35/19 tyres. I have 20mm rear and 15mm front. Is this an mot failure ?
Where's the best place to get decent but cheaper spacers??? There are a load on eBay but I'm not sure which ones are best.
