Check intercooler and piping for boost leak.

well i dont think i have any boost leeks from those pipes as i have checked them all. My n75 had a leak on the pipe that went to charge pipe. I know that because there was oil around it. This might have been it. But like i said. I dont know the colour of smoke but was told blue and then told darker than blue.

i hate this problem solving crap. Would be much better if i knew. I might use vagcom to check o2 sensors later. Been reading that guide u posted.

Phil, what wattage wiring kit did you get? I was looking yesterday, and there were 3 different wattages available. 400w , 800w and 1500w.

The one with the thickest wire. 4awg or thicker it needs to be.

I'm using 4awg and jonzy if using 0awg, which is thicker.

Eggy smell sounds like a cat really.

Check your timing logs, 020, they tend to go nuts when the cat is blocked/****ed.

Log your MAF as well.

u saying go out and belt the car to do the logs. its really busy so i could do them in 3rd gear not 4th if thats going to be ok

I hate this kinda stuff, I never know!

I also saw the fusion one's which i think you said you had, the 800w had a bright red kinda see through covering, where as the 1500w kit had a more darker flat colour red.

Bigger wattage tends to come with a bigger fuse thats all.

0's cf's is spot on.

I didnt fuse it tom, no. No problems at all with it.


Oil in fmic/smic pipes, boost/vac leaks, shaft play in the turbo, oil consumption, MAF readings, fault codes, petrol consumption.

From where i live, over the Rhigos mountain, then from Hirwaun on one of the best roads about A4059 then down the A470 to Merthyr, back to hirwaun on the A465 and back over the Rhigos.

ok thats a fair list. If i have oil in intercooler what do i do? I think i saw oil in tip the other day.

Rhys i finish at 8. We can do logs if u want.

Any thing i should log? To aid in my search. I know maf and i think rhys know's the block. And will do 020 properly this time. What else?
