gutted for ya phil, gotta agree with what daz has said here though, not feeling the way everyones talking about "getting rid", its such a blunt phrase that everyone uses when they hate the car, think of the fun of driving it though and how much more fun it'd be with more power, you've gone this far, why not finish it 
Mate i know exactly how you feel, mine went from a simple coilpack to a rebuild overnight, but im on 70k now with a new rebuild running best its ever run and if i had the money it would be the ideal time for a bigger turbo.
Sorry to hear about it though its such a pain but imo you arent throwing the money away, it'll be worth it and you wont get as much for the parts and then fork out for a new car for what a rebuild will give you.
My car is worth much more to me than i could get for it, plus the fun you'll get from a bt is priceless!

Next : Wheel felt like it was going to fall off last night. Wobly as hell feeling. Checked it out earlier, nothing stood out to the eye. Put wheel back on went for drive same feeling with added *Crack* noise when pulling off. Nothing like i've ever heard on the bugger before.

Decided to go for it now people.
Picked up my box and diff today, will be ordering rods and pistons etc.. this week, just need a clutch now.
Will be back on the road end of the month and i'll order the eliminator kit next month should be all mapped beginning of august i'm planning now.
Any ideas on the clutch?
