Ollie, i got 16.2mm from the end of the rod to the face of the first nut with my digital calipers :D

Right thanks for that. I'll check mine now then. Im not conviced all actuator rods are the same length though. Be better measuring from the actuator body itself to the top nut i think, that way you get a more accurate reading and the rod length should'nt mater. :D

I'll do that now for you ollie.

I would keep winding the nut in tbh, just keep checking the boost levels so you dont throw it into limp mode.

Got lemmiwinks working properly now. :D

Ok cheers! You reckon i should keep winding it in? What sort of peak boost do you reckon is safe on a K03s then? Ive now done 4 turns (67.6mm from actuator to top nut) and seeing a peak of 2410mbar. Thats with settings at B8T8.

Its gona take me atleast 4 turns to see that much boost i think. Im only seeing wastegate in the mid 80's high up the rev range. Dont spose you know how far up the rod your actuator is set do you Daz? (from actuator to top bolt).

Im not quite sure how much further i should turn it.

Well im up to 16 threads now which isn't exactly excessive. Do i just need make sure the wastegate duty doesnt rise to 100% for too long then? Whats a sensible amount to stop at?

95-100% jammed shut to build boost which generally causes a boost spike. Your WG % should then fall to around 70% then climb back up as the turbo works harder to meet the requested furter up the rev range.

Keep winding it in i reckon and see how it feels and change it to boost 9.

Keep an eye on block 020 as well, the harder the turbo works the hotter the air will be so you might see an increase in CF's.

When i get the car back if i get the same logs as i was gettin previously i'll run HB9T9 and add some degrees with lemmiwinks along with some actuator cranking.

And with Boost 9 timing 8......

Wastegate working harder but boost seems to be peaking lower

I havent seen any timing pull in block 020 even with boost set to 9, but the cooler temperatures tonight tonight might be helping.
