I agree, sleek oem is the way forward definetely. Bagged myself a set of mk3 Cupra R Super T's on xmas day for the Ibiza. Im planning on getting a new set of pressed plates with the proper font aswell. Plus Im going to get a set of coilovers so I can play with the height.

Definetely think Im going to have to go for one of those Fk badgeless grilles in the near future.

i had a set of brand spanking new oz seat sport super turismo's! never even made it onto my car, was a shame. i sold them for a about £300, silly boy...im thinking about getting new coilovers for some unknown reason...im a pillock i suppose.. as for debadged grills, i g through stages of liking them but standard with white badge looks cool to me

The Oz' Seat Sport Super T's Ive got arent brand new, got a few marks but they are in good condition. Was thinking of getting them refurbed but I aint sure now. Thinking of going Toyo T1-R tyres on them. Only reason Im after coilovers is so I can have adjustibility etc. Reason Im going de-badged grille because Im sick of the mesh thats on there right now. Got a few other little things to do this year.

Im just thinking of sticking with the 1.4 as I use it as an everyday car and I get good fuel economy etc out of it.

Ive got to stand by the euro look....i really like it.

A euro looking car stands out a lot more where i live as there is sooooo many street fighter cars around. ill always try and defend where i live but there is a hell of a lot of boy'd up saxo's, clio's & astra's ect all with HUGE spoilers and ugly flimsey body kits with mesh coming out of every hole...and lets not forget the HORRID blue LED head lights !!!! so a nice smooth looking clean and low car is a refreshing site !.....of course it packs a punch to.

each to there own though.

Don't forget orangemuffin, we all gotta start somewhere. Some of us learn after one or two cars whereas others take a decade to realise just how gay they look in their 'suped' up cars :p

Yeah deffo.

like I say each to there own.

I think its something you have to know what you want before you start.

My early ibiza's i just kept standard. The main reason being all my money was going else where and i just couldnt afford it and didnt want my car to look like it had ram raided halfords....if i had the cash back then i would have aimed at something like cruiser 87. It looks nice and i never needed to be anywhere in a hurry.

I am more than happy to learn from other people's mistakes.
