Hello, my fans only work on 4, not 1, 2 or 3. Looks like a common fault with the heater blower resistor and there's plenty of guides on the older models so I thought it'd be pretty easy to locate but since removing the glove box, I cannot find it on the right hand side where it usually is. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Got a few pics attached of what I can see from the front and bottom. Exactly model is a 67 plate Seat Ibiza 1.5tsi FR, has upgraded media but standard heating (not climate control)

Did you find it? It's at top right deep at the back so you need to look in straight (i.e. level) from around lower edge of steering wheel height. Then you can see the edge of the circular holder that's at a steep angle. Online best guide .
Got mine out but can't get the ****** to twist back into place. Try again tomorrow.
VAG know this part blows regularly and it's a simple bit of junior electronics that everyone else perfected well over 50 years ago, but in nearly 20 years they haven't improved the design. That's absymal. Dorsprung Krap Technik
