Thats gorgeous now you've done a really good job of cleaning that up! Theres nothing wrong with pre-face lift and that ones obviously been looked after. MK2's especially the early ones will be classics some day

its only had 2 owners, 63000 miles when i had it ( first pic in may 06 ) full service history, even a couple of marks have been touched up. so for 11 years old its in very good nick... and i like the pre face lift, dont see many around and i like my boxier cars ( previously owning a mk2 Golf )

yeh the offset is majourly wrong, but i got them couple of months old very good condition, for an unbelievable price ... gonna space the rears 10mm anyway so improve the rear round corners. if i spot some multispokes white or silver ill sell the ones i have at a huge profit lol and get them

lol.. I did the same with the 1.4 ive just sold ... had a cracking deal on the Multi's...only problem I ever had with them was the 'odd' rub when blatting over speedbumps

What did that have a run in with? From the shape of the dent its had a run in with a lamp post or perhaps even a person.

Least its staying off the scrap heap and its also in quite a rare colour for a GTi

I think it was a motorbike as the bonnet has small circle dents in it like the foot rests has bounced off of it. And the windscreen has broken from either the bike of the person.


I bought it from the salvage yard at the local scrappies, they only had it in for a week. Love it, bit of an ungraded from my ibiza 1.4 1995

Do you happen to know the paint code and name for it hun?
