Testing your memory here a bit Scott

Did you ever manage to find a cure for the dipped beam going off when you used your main beam once you changed to twin reflector headlamps on your Ibiza?

Got the same issue myself now.

Cheers mate.

Ahh right. Thanks anyway Scott, I've got an idea of what I might do to fix it, just hope it's as easy as the plan.

Not seen your old car btw, bit of a legend that car.

I'm doing my pillars in gloss vinyl too, ever since seeing scotts i thought it looked mint. shame the gloss vinyl can be a pain to apply

The pillars on my 5 door seem pretty hard to remove, not sure if they're different to the 3 door? if I can remove mine i'm def going to do it, should make vinyling it much easier

If you get them off let us know as I'd like to do mine when the weather gets better.

best speak to uzi_cupra, he took his off when doing his cupra project for painting, im pretty certain when you open the door and look at the inside of the part there is 2 pins or clips, and when these are removed the parts should come right off.

I bought new ones, painted them and fitted them on my old White one. Easiest way, you ruin all the original clips when pulling them out and the pillars themselves can get damaged pretty easy. They arnt expensive either.
