Yeah I won't go mad with it, just nice subtle changes. I'm still planning on doing the headliner in black alcantara sometime so may do the pillars with the carbon trim - can't beat carbon and suede!!!

who do you order it from and how much again? also how big is the sheeting....good value for money?

when doing curved parts i.e. corners of wings mirrors etc, is it just a case of sticking, bending and stretching the material etc to give a nice fit?

The sheet is big, 50 inches by 24 inches and it is durable yes. It is just a case of manipulating it round corners etc., but I was careful to try and keep the weave pattern straight when stretching it, but it is easy to work with and is mega-sticky!

Hi, just wondering what was done to the front centre grill, has the number plate plinth just been removed if so how or something or is there more too it?

Number plate section removed, grill removed, the surrounding edge of the opening reprofiled and a new grill made for it - all done by myself.

also how big is the sheeting...?

Maximum width is 135 cm, the auction owner told me. I ordered 135x150, so you can get pretty much any length, but not wider than 135 cm.

The boring non-sticky sheets are wider.

I bought grill from ebay, place called Regula Tuning in Germany, had to cut it to size and find a way to secure it.

Well my DV failed today because of the water injection it seems. When I took it apart the insides had moisture all over it and the spring had white corrosion on it. Even after cleaning and re-lubing it still wouldn't work properly, so I have ordered a new Forge 007P to replace it (it was a Bailey DV30). I think I'll need to move the DV takeoff to before the WMI nozzle so it doesn't happen again.

You have to take it out from behind too, so it's a bumper off job.

Rob have you posted any pics of your mirror's laquired ???

No because I haven't laquered them yet, not sure if I'm going to, would take many, many coats of clear laquer to get a smooth finish and the CF effect seems to get lost under the laquer.

New Forge 007P arrived today, along with new vacuum hose and 25mm hose too. I now have the DV fed from the coldside pipework before the WMI nozzle, so it shouldn't be affected by moisture now.

I'm hoping to do some logging in the next few days and start advancing the timing.

just to add you cannot lacquer the cf stuff, tried it today and it just goes black haha so this means its satin finish only,

i found a uk supplier of this a few weeks back, theres is about £60 for 1m x 1.3m inc del
