Try A-Plan Insurance ( 01635 874646 ) even with my mods APR stage 2 £ 840.00 fully comp.

I don't understand the whole thing about Adrian Flux not covering revo. I had my revo'd LCR insured with them for two years with revo declared. £595 and I'm only 27.

In fact Adrian Flux have always given me the best quotes miles better than everywhere else. My Mondeo ST TDCi costs me just £425 a year with class 3 business use and my Elise is £649 with all mods declared.

otherwise best quote so far for me this week is £323:p

Mind telling us who that was with? How old are you - if that's not too personal a question! - and how many years no claims? That fully comp?

too many questions I know

Norwich Union , though only if you're over 25 -their quotes are better. I'm good at haggling:)
thats obviously with the max. no claims +5 years and of course fully comp, add. courtesy car and legal fees, minus the last 2 I 'd get it under 290 easy!

Thanks guys, elephant is nearly 1500 quid, and adrian flux wont cover revo cars now, they only cover modified cars that have a max modified bhp increase of 10%, at least thats what i was told on the phone today..

AF just quoted me £570 for My LCR with REVO stage 1! (That's about 18% increase)

Adrian Flux quoted me only an extra £80 for my chip, which I declared as an increase of 35bhp. I was never told of any 10% limit. I am 28 with 3 years no claims living in middle of City. I pay £600 a year with my chip.

Insurance, try this one.

I know this threads been running for a while but heres one I don't think has been mentioned Barry Grainger, I been insured with this broker for the last three years, every time renewal comes up, I ring round all the usual suspects Adrian Flux, Greenlight, Tesco etc, when I've found the lowest quote, I pass it on to Barry Grainger and they always beat it, although they don't give you this good quote until you've told them where and how much your lowest is.

Their quotes for bog standard run arounds are no better than the big insurers.

Insurance is somewhat of a numbers game a quote from one company one month can be totally different a few months later, depends how much liability they have for a particular period of time.
