yep, i was surprised myself... tho if at home your doing it, i would drive up against garage door/wall... mark the position of where the lights break with some black tape, fit the HID kit, move car to same position and see the position of the lights in comparison to the originals.... or

£10 - £15 will get your lights alligned at any good backstreet garage with a tester
Sounds like a plan :funk:

And im presuming I can adjust them under the bonnet so I can lower the "upper" level that you can choose from within the car?

yup, if you look on the light units themselves you will see the adjusters, well on the ibiza they are creamy colour and have an hex key head AFAIK

Sweet... so "presuming" they are correct at the moment, just line them back up again to be the same as now.

We will see.....

Plus my "Heated washer jets" turned up today (cheers IMG) so I will be playing with those this weekend as well!

Fitted which?

HID's fitted .... :worship: They are SWEEEEET

I will try to get some pics posted up tonight of the fitting locations. Rather than how bright the lights are. They are bright. What more do you need to know? ;)

Waiting for a dry weekend to have a go at the heated washer jets...

if you are looking for HIDs supplier go to hids4u.co.uk

they do a set made by pilot probably best around much better than x5 as its not only waterproof like the x5 but smaller ballasts and longer cables which makesit easier to install in the leon. Great service as well, let them know youre form the forum.

Hi Phil
Thanks for your email
I am happy to support group buys. For the none h4 bixenon kit i can do the Pilot kit for 225 or a non Pilot kit for 199.99 plus pp. Bixenon would be 249.99
I would set up a link, so members can buy of the site, but would need a password, say seatcupranet for the sale to be processed
let me know what you think

Ian

Save yourself 100 notes ... I got three sets ... all for £150. They are great!

Fitted in the 200sx, the Leon and a Shitron Paxo. They all work perfectly and have single balasts which are easy to fit and have cables that are plenty long enough.

The Paxo ones a SO kool. Becausae they are a H4 they are a combi dipped/full beam bulb. Check em out ...

Freind of mine buys them in at £150 a set and sells them on at £199. But he will let me have them for cost.

He is a top bloke on "A.N.Other" performance SEAT web site ;)

They are Japenese, so not Chinese or Asian crap. As they are Jap they are designed to be colder than the other ones so they wont melt the plastic lenses (in most Jap motors)

Fitted them in 30mins on Saturday. WELL impressed :worship:

£50 you mean - the cheapest set from hids4u would be £199.

Have you got any pictures of the ballasts etc yet? Are the ballasts waterproof? Do they connect straight to the battery or off the loom?

Can on man - you can't dangle a big carrot like that and then leave us hanging!

The price is cost as it's from a freind of mine. So a group buy "might" be a little more. I.E. £160, so he makes a little bit out of it. But I will mention it to him and see what he says.

OK, OK .... £50 ;)

I will get some piccys tonight.

They go directly to the loom, no battery connector and are water proof. The ballasts and starters are all in one and come in a little rubber jacket that you use to connect them to your car with a little metal hanger you can srew to your bodywork, or as I did some plastic covers. Quite and engenious design.

I will ask him about the group buy and see what he says. [B)]

oh ... and these kits are 6000k. He can get 4300k but doesnt reccomend them as he says they are "too green" ....

He can also get 8000k, but they are £180 a set rather than £150. And he does say that he knows people who have been stopped with the 8000k ones as they are "too" blue/pink/purple

Well, they have only been running since Saturday, but they are great. they take about half a second to warm up. But I suppose that is what the starter kits are for.

Driving down country lanes at night ... it's like driving in the day. Tres kool.

ONLY PROBLEM IS ...... I also drive my other car, Mitsibushi, went out in it last night... SHITE headlights. Might have to buy ANOTHER set, then I will have them on ALL my cars.

So the only problem with them is ... they spoil you!
