They look ok for that price.

From what I have seen there are 2 sets you can get, one (older style) where you power them from the battery, goes via a relay unit. The newer style power from the existing bulb power - so a much cleaner and easier installation.

Mine ae turning up today! WOO HOO!!!

£150.... Jap built. Not Chinese or Asian crap....

Will let you all know how it goes as I have a good supplier IF these babys work the way they should

Plus they are 6000k and he can do 8000k for £180!

The suppiler has had them on his LEON for a year and not had any issues.

Will let you all know how it goes ASAP...

I bought two sets.... one for the Leon and one for the 200sx.

Will fit them this weekend ... IF I can wait that long ;)

Just checked the prices....

£155 for 6000k
£175 for 8000k

Havig said that they COULD be too good to be true... so I will let you all know. [B)]

I fitted the pilot kit from www.hids4u.co.uk sooo easy to fit, and if you look on ebay you will find the kit even cheaper. The difffernce in light is amazing
Not sure if I would trust ebay.

Took the plunge on these kits for £150 notes. If im honest if I didn't know the guy who I got them from I wouldn't have bothered as they are a little "too" cheap.

But I know him, I trust him and I know he has been running the same kit on his Leon for close on a year.

If they are shite, I will kick his ass and let you all know.

http://ablackmarket.com/ClubandForumOffer_HID.html are £235 at the moment, these are the newer style ones which connect straight into the existing lights for power. Decent bloke to deal too.

I would stick with 6000k, anything more goes away from the daylight white look and not as good IMO.

I have had mine in since Feb this year and no problems even when being used frequently with the Autowindow "Brite" module.

£155 is a good price though.

Edit: looks like hid4u do the X5 kit @ £259.99

Same idea as mine, 6000k is perfect anymore and they are tooo blue, i sometimes think even 6000k is a little bit too blue

I personaly wouldn't go above 6000k.

The new style ones are nice.... but 100 quid saving is nice.

Having said that...... £155 IS a good price .... ONLY IF they are any good.

Might have to put them in tonight! How hard is it to allign them?
Can I just put the adjuster down to bottom level?
Or is is more complex than that?

Anyone?

yep, i was surprised myself... tho if at home your doing it, i would drive up against garage door/wall... mark the position of where the lights break with some black tape, fit the HID kit, move car to same position and see the position of the lights in comparison to the originals.... or

£10 - £15 will get your lights alligned at any good backstreet garage with a tester
