hi, ordered mine this week using the part numbers, told also that the
arms number had been superseaded from 704 to 707. put it all together and the wiper blade fits perfectly on the arm, would try it on the car but dont get it to next week!

Just picked this up from the Local Skoda dealer today, you have to check the parts though as when you ask for the parts the dealer wrongly assumes you want the complete Fabia Estate kit and this is not correct, you want the Arm & Blade for the Estate but the cover for the hatchback.
Sure enough when I picked up the parts they had given me the cover for the estate which would block the washer so I spent five minutes explaining to the dealer what I needed.
Even though you quote the correct part numbers it does not compute with the parts guy's in some dealerships, to rigid in thier training I guess.

I brought the lot for £16.41 from my Local Skoda dealer. Looks more modern than the original.

Had a good look at the Octavia RS in the showroom and was very impressed with it. Looked really nice in silver still think the front end looks a bit bland though.

Have you got your list of mods yet Ice Man? Like this wiper mod, gonna order it today. Bit confused by the numbers now though.
This will be the first mod to the R. Uh Oh, this could get expensive!:D

well .. as far as i know there is a possibility to get the "aerodynamic" wishers for the front too

The Audi A3 has similar (but not exact fitting) wishers ... but I'm going to check this

i use my rear wisher too seldom .. :D .. but for the front it would be nice ...

Pete

Right mate, all measurements flat on screen

Centre of pivot to end of blade - 440mm
Centre of pivot to end of arm - 275mm
Blade length - 345mm

You could get away with a longer item upto about 25/30mm I recon as it won't hit the spoiler and there is room.
