Cool

Any chance you good take a pic of the angel eyes back, would like to see the wires at the back of them.

You had to get rid of your fogs then for the pipes?

Nice one, thanks for the links Scott. Yes I'll put decent mesh, probably the second link's style, I'll have to give it a measure.

Yes, not a problem mate, I'll have to do it tomorrow, as I am going to work in about 10 minutes. Yes, I had to remove the fogs, but even if the pipe work went round them I'd still remove them to get the cold air feed down there and because i've only used the fogs once. I may wire in some small L.E.D. driving lights if I can find some.

You hoping to get the feed down to foglight level?.......not much room with FMIC pipework as you know??.....I had a look and thought it was too small maybe 50mm dia would fit????

The second link is the MG version (has kinks in it, as per the new MGF bumper grills). Id say your better off witht he first which is the ford ST24 mesh, nice smooth and top quality. (i may have got the links the wrong way round tho!

If you can fit it cool but Forge tried to fit one to my car (different pipework though) they had the bumper off and the car on the ramps and couldn't get their KONA induction kit to fit.

(The Kona is similar to the Carbonio)

Then again it may have been more of a space issue with the filter cone at foglight level and the FMIC pipework down there

Actually I still had the fogs in too which wouldn;t help either :cartman:

no , the fog units are massive, really deep, another reason for removal is i may put an oil cooler on the drivers side,

Yeah, tell me about it, i have recently taken the foggies out of mine to allow air flow to the Neuspeed CAI and SMIC, didnt realise how hoooge they were. car feels more responsive as air filter is breathing more air, directly. Is that me being optomistic is improvemtn, or will it have an affect?

i would say the fogs take up half the area of the SMIC, so i would say you would maybe feel a difference,

remember too, that on the non old pre facelift Cupras, they dont have air vents as such, the SMIC is sheilded behind plastic trim, crappy bumper and then foggies, i imagine no air at all gets to the SMIC itself. Sma estory on the other side for the arch mounted ait filter.

Now both of them sit directly behind the holes where the foggies were. FMIC at some point, but my car isnt exactly snailpace so i guess i will have to wait :(
