The map is written for 550s at 3bar John. I think ill be spending more money very soon :)

have you ever looked at how much your car has cost you? ive always payed out for the best on my car but i dont think i was quite ready for the spiraling cost of STG3. it just doesnt stop and if anyone thinks they will keep anything like decent mpg..... think again. I know im getting on a bit and im probably in a position to soak up the costs but it still makes me wonder what ive done sometimes.

lucky i have a diesel to run around in.... yours must be followed by a tanker John :)

Averaged 26 on this tank. Running in though. Only do 4-5 k ayear in it. Usualy get 17-18 over a tank.
I reckon I've dropped 6k a year into it over 7 years just on go faster parts. Add
Tyres, wear and tear and buying it new, and fuel, I recon 1£ per mile. It's on 94k miles

the daily driver costs about the same over 20k miles a year as the golf does over 5k miles, but I have no other hobbies, no debt, and I'm old enough to be able to afford it.

Wouldn't reccomended it to others though. I'm sure a drugs habit would be cheaper.

I've had a good day today...

Maz (JonJay) made the trip oop narth to detail my car in time for winter. I must say, his knowledge of detailing is incredible, TBH ive played with my Porter cable thinking im doing it right (still doing a better job than doing it by hand though) but watching Maz has really taught me something.. He's like a dad, he's been telling me off all day for cleaning my car wrong, hehe.

if anyone is thinking of getting it done its well worth the money, send him a PM you get the cleaning tips for free it seems :) i cant recommend him enough.

Maz will upload the pics as i know he likes to write up every car but when he does i might steal a few.

I dont think my car has ever been so clean. Maz thinks it should last up to 6 months too which is awesome.

Any which way an old cupra r pump will be past its best, but combine it with an in line and you'll have no probs.

just like this

using these

neatest/easiest way I know of adding the inline pump.

Hi Aaron,

Completely off topic but I just wondered what height you have you KW Var.2's set too to achieve a decent height.

Looking at Weitec Hicon GT's or KW Var.1's and your height looks spot on for retaining a decent clearence.

Cheers mate

Lee

PS I'm still loving the Blueflame system :)

I may have had a result on the pump but if i end up going down the inline route, im assuming the filter is relocated in the engine bay?

the fittings look BTW :)

Hi Lee, i dont know anyone who has the V1's, i was always worried about them being too hard but TBH i now run my V2's on the hardest setting so I dont know why i was worrying.

im not sure about the drop. As i have 19's it looks very low but i have actually raised it slightly overall. if you want me to measure to the centre of the wheel i will but the ground clearance will be slightly less if you are on 18's

Really appreciate your kind words Aaron. Massive thank you for feeding me throughout the day and it was a pleasure working on your amazing car :)

Just doing the write up...should be up today or tomorrow.

Thanks Willie,

I think i'll go for one the makes i mentioned before. I'll try 25mm drop first and see how i get on.

I need to remember that if it says a drop of say 35mm to 65mm i need to take into account that the LCR is already ~15mm lower than a standard leon.

Therefore 35mm drop on the coily's is really only 20mm drop.

Cheers for the info mate :)
