Thx graham

Nick your figure isn't far out at all. You wouldn't notice a 15 bhp difference on the road and you'll always have days when your car feels slow, I do.

I'm happier with my curve now even though I dropped a shed load of torque, the car feels more powerful and faster because it is less breathless up top.

Let's stick our names down for the next rr and go from there?

I think you might have lost peak torque because of excess methanol swamping your charge. You've gained further up the range through the cooling effect of the methanol. I'd recommend you reduce your mix a bit first. :)

Ok thanks for the advice dave

What I need is a few runs on the rollers... What about a smaller (60ml) nozzle and a stronger mix, should have the same effect, in theory?

Have you thought about trimming your fuel with lemmiwinks? I should be getting a wideband AFR gauge soon.... Free :)

Do you have Vag-Com, Aaron?

I alter my timing using uni-settings. Fuelling is spot-on.

Yes dave, I use my sps unit to change my timing can you push it further with uni settings? I'm running 9/9 at the minute.

Is there a reason you haven't gone for a 50/50 mix and trimmed the fuel back if needed?

I was running 50/50 originally, but discovered it was just swamping the charge and I wasn't actually burning it. I cut back to 25% and got better rr results.

I can't increase the timing without getting daft CFs low down the range. (Revo Stage 3 prob) It's because increasing the timing moves the whole map, Ideally I'd just like to move the top half.

Yes I'm on 9/9. You can push the timing further with unisettings.

With logging, you can prove you are (or aren't) burning the methanol (as opposed to just using it for cooling)

Ok... I need to look into unisettings, where did you get yours from?

what got me thinking about running a small nozzle was chatting to DanGB, Jabba have fitted one to his.

What blocks am I to look at? I know 032 gives a good indication with minus figures being rich?

There's quite a few variables here, I think I could spend a long time getting it right. Thanks for your help again.

I'll dig you some info out. :)

I have downloaded unisettings, I will be trying it out once I get my cable back from nick... There's not much info online about changing settings although it seems quite self explanatory.

I'm assuming once you have advanced the timing more with uni you back it off slightly with the sps unit once/if ever it gets hotter? It's just an offset right?

It all very interesting, I'm not sure why I haven't looked at this before.

Unisettings seems great, i cant get out to do some logs so i havent changed anything other than idle speed.... its going to be fun playing tomorrow :)
