i see how you planned on snow boading now lol

spluttering has gone, due to fuel, gauge read 1/4 tank but it cut out due to being empty!

£30 of v max and its great again, just need your knowledge to data log it and see what we can do ;)

Ill get some pics up of the injectors tonight, also bought a wideband AFR setup, AEM Uego, which will sit in my pilar instead of the boost gauge which will be relegated to the Cupra R pod or even removed as i have a boost gauge as part of the Greddy EBC.

Pics to follow.

I guess its just turbo, manifold, downpipe, oil/coolant lines and inlet left before stage 3. :)

Ok, so this car has been my daily drive for the past 2 weeks and its annoyed the hell out of me so this weekend i spent a lot of time sorting things out, so i....

Fixed ABS wiring problem
Fixed nearside rattle - was a loose metal plate on the brakes
Emptied catch tank
Fixed dodgy horn and steering wheel fitting
Tided all wiring up with OEM VW loom tape
Fitted AEM wideband gauge, wideband sensor and wiring - mission!
Fixed dodgy passenger side speaker and fitted new door clips.
Fixed power steering pipe bracket.
Removed Leon Cupra R splitter - was a bit battered, actually like the look without it.

Was amazing to drive to work this morning with zero lights on my dash and all 6 gauges (of sorts) working, AFR, boost, boost controller, oil pressure, oil temp and scangauge.

Picked up a new oil pump, pickup, chain and tensioner on friday and im about to order a Backdraft Motorsport baffled sump. :)

Pics to follow. :)

I know how it feels when you flip the key and just waiting for a EML to show in dash. it takes some time to get used to it when everything sorted:)

How`s the afr working? did you remove the last afr probe and refitted with the aem one? what values are you seeing under load?

Yes, removed the second lambda sensor and secured it on the subframe in fresh air but still electrically connected.

Seeing low 12's under full load then running mid to high 11's top end, perfect really.

First track session of 2010 and all didnt go as planned, managed the first session with zero problem despite the car running via a paperclip as my WOT BOX has broken (so completed the circuit using a paperclip) it ran very well and handled and was breaking well with AFR's looking good, think only two cars passed me, a a crazy turbo'd track Saxo (animal) and a escort cosworth that soon blew up after giving everything to pass me. lol.

Second session was a different matter, i went out despite seeing coolant thrown over the engine bay, which basically made me end my session early as the warning light came on for coolant temps, think i saw 142dgrees briefly after pulling off.

So from this day ive decided a few things, ALL my bling will be up for sale, everything is goin back to brand new looking OEM stuff and the coolant system is goin back to standard, header tank will be goin back on.

I need money for go faster bits. :)

I think its a weak cap on the rop fill rad cap which i run on the top rad hose. Seemed to have come from there. Strange tho as this has never happened in many track sessions with this setup.

Any thoughts Bill?

I couldnt keep the temps down on the way home either.
