I have finished my new version of the centre gauge holder and added the new gauges, i am really happy with them.

This is just a pic of my interior, i have a 225 steering wheel to go in but its at the restorers being re coloured, i have also removed the "R" badge from the bottom, it has no place in the car as its not a "R" so i modded it.

After washing it i went out and took some more pics i have made a few changes.

Well i had a busy Ban Holiday Sunday, i finished my latest bit of engine bay fettling, by fitting the SS shield and new swirl pot and catch tank, the filter is fed cold air from beneath via a feed from the front fog light hole. I also fitted my oil cooler with the help from Tim (Ronin 225)which went quite well, its behind the centre "S" grill on the bumper, and is connected to a Mocal thermostat controlled sandwich plate, i needed to trim a bit of metal away from the slam panel, and a bit of plastic from the bumper, but it was quite straight forward and works very well. Unfortunately we forgot to take any pic's but the next time the bumpers of i will take some. The only thing i need to do to the bay now is get the cam cover powder coated, i have bought a spare one so will do a bit of smoothing on that and get it done, still trying to decide whether to do it black or red???

Been doing a bit more fiddling, decided i didn't like the look of all the intercooler pipes through the grills so i decided to blank them of from the back, i put some duct tape across the back then fibre glassed over the top for regidety, i had tried it with just the tape but the air pushed the tape back.

i was then going to remove the tape and secure the fibre glass in place but i liked the look of the tape when i painted it so i left it, now the air flow goes into the fog light hole and into my cold feed pipe straight to the filter.

I really like it, its difficult to see in the photo's as its all in shadow.

I dont think i need to get any more its getting it all from the gap and from the "S" badge so i would say 90% is in direct air flow. Driving around today in this heat and having some fun in the lanes around here the oil temp didn't reach the normal running temp i got before i fitted the cooler.

The thermostatic sandwich plate, can you adjust the temperature that is starts sending the oil through the cooler?
Sounds good, 90% is way more than I had thought, sorry for this misunderstanding.
It looked like in the pictures it was about 5% from the 'S' badge and 2% from the snout
