Let me know how that goes!
I'm getting sick of the soggy handling of my car now

Will do patrick, the guy i bought it from had just upgraded to h&r front and back plus had the walk, he said the walk made alot of differance and was suprised how much differance the front arb made too.

I put mine in wrong before its a Fr Pd like yours, with stage one shark map im going to get the dpf delete done and resist the map tweek..

im hopeing the DPF delete will give me around 215 bhp and HOPEFULLY not as much smoke as Pauls.

If its a pd i would definitely get the dpf deleted as soon as you can, your map will be pushing more fuel through the car and blocking the dpf faster, I would say stage 1 is enough for a fast road car so don't worry about getting every last bhp out of the engine.

Excellent thanks. I was considering WALK and polys but don't like the idea snapping my downpipe.
Especially with these torquey things.

Had an hours drive to get these bad boys from a mk5 r32 at an absolute bargain price of £200 for everything, front and rear calipers, carriers, disc, pads and heat shield, looks like there is a lot life left in the discs not sure about the pads but I will just put some new ones in, gonna get them sand blasted then powder coated white with a little black fr sticker.

Did you fit these? Was the braking power a lot different?
Also did you need new brake hoses?
Ben

I haven't fitted the brakes yet, still waiting to get the calipers back from the sprayers
You don't need new hoses but i am going to fit some braided lines as i intend to do some track days and don't want any fade, I will also be putting super racing blue fluid in at the same time

Get the dpf delete and remap done mate you definitely won't regret it, you shouldn't get much smoke on stage 1, I was lucky with mine as it went into limp mode (only time i had a problem with the dpf) day before my remap but the journey to Mansfield wasn't to great lol, I knew the dpf was going to be a problem as I only drive under 10 miles to work everyday.

Definitely some good biking roads out that way, I don't ride anymore had a b1h zx6r then cbr600rr, got knocked off the zx6r by some twat who wasn't looking, I really miss riding but I will be buying another bike when my daughter grows up a bit and will probably be a gsxr 750, do you have a bike?

I am looking at getting the car mapped, but don't want the hassle or even extra cost of the DPF delete. I dint really use my car for short trips, more runs at the weekends to be honest, and it does get a good blast though the gears, but will the map kill the DPF still?

I have had many bikes and even a short stint in club racing. Currently have a Hornet 600, with a few bits and bobs done.

If it was me personally I would get the dpf removed if you're going to get it mapped as you will be putting more fuel through the engine but if your not doing short journeys and the dpf is getting up to temp for a good period of time to burn the excess soot out you should be ok.

Sounds like you would be pretty handy on a bike lol, I just think its to dangerous to ride on the roads now, no ****er looks out for bikes anymore

Tested the roll bar a bit today, definitely notice the difference, it doesn't kick the back end out just makes it more planted, would definitely recommend it :)

Excellent. I'll be looking out for a kit then.
Not sure whether to prioritise it before or after coilovers :)
First...need to drop a few grand for a new(er) MR2

Really miss riding this time of year, but the roads are getting worse, some of my best roads are still nice, and in place stone chipped which is annoying!

Paul are you going to the AMD RRNA tomorrow?
