I replaced one sensor just above the oil filter on the block (leon 1.4 51) on looking to see if there was another I noticed this sender onto of the gearbox. What is it?

A is for reverse light, B is for speedo...arrowed one?

Also where is the oil filler on this box I have found the drain,.

Cheers

A doesnt look like a reverse light switch to me, id say the other looked more like that. Someone else may know.

The oil filler plug is on the front side of the box, across from the starter motor.

I think you'll find that A is the gear selector rod. B is the speedometer sensor and the arrowed connector is for the reversing light switch.

The fill/level plug is in the end of these gearboxes (02K), I think. Look for a socket-headed plug facing the nearside wheel - applying full left lock may help.
