Evening,

I'm planning on changing the gearbox oil on my wife's car as a precaution. She wants to keep the car..forever I think!

2017 ST FR 2.0 TDI 150. I've seen a video of a guy changing the oil on a set-up which looks the same as my wife's car. Looked very simple, fill and drain bolts out and pour new oil in. However I've also read about some gearboxes need something locked in place? But I don't know how to tell which gearbox I have.

Any advice welcome

Thank you.

Nothing special, just drain and fill - making sure you crack the fill plug first.
The 2.0tdi has the MQ350

Looks like the US made versions have removed the fill plug :(- so you have to fill via the selector mech - which might mean you'd have to lock the selector to re-adjust?
