Hi all,
I am looking for a bit of advice/reassurance please. I was just attempting to change the gearbox oil on my 2016 1.4 fr (6 speed manual) following the guide available here:
www.seatcupra.net
According to the guide, the drain and fill plugs were supposed to be 10mm allen sockets, but mine seem to be different and much bigger (see photo). Unfortunately I didn't have anything to fit this socket in my toolbox.
Do these plugs vary across models (I notice the shape of the gearbox in the guide looks a bit different to mine)? If yes, does anyone know what size allen socket I need for my plugs?
Please also reassure me these are the correct plugs and I'm not looking at something else!
Thank you

Changing the gearbox oil on a 2014 6-speed manual 2.0 diesel FR
What you'll need: Jack and axle stands, 10mm Allen socket, T25 and T45 Torx sockets, torque wrench, small funnel and length of tubing and 2.3-2.4L of 75W GL-4 gearbox oil. Start by safely jacking the front of your car up and putting it on axle stands. Get underneath and remove the under tray...
