Hi, thanks to information given by @Zoidberg and others I was able to enable the travel assist (I had the assit pack L, DSG) after changing my steering wheel to a capacitive one.

However, I have some issue with OBD Eleven, I could not change the settings in the Control Unit 13. I have the message "something went wrong" when trying to send the long coding (even if I don't modify anything). A5 long coding worked properly.
The weird thing is, travel assist and capacitive wheel seems to work anyway. I have the travel assist settings in the touch screen, and I managed to do 10 minutes of highway without having the "take the wheel" message
See the post above yours 👍🏻

If you mean "unlock the hood", I had it unlocked all the time. I also tried plugging the OBD device before or after turning on ignition, to no avail.
Not sure if there are other things in the process to pay attention to ?

I figured out my issue. For the control unit 13, you have to login for the security access.... Somehow I missed that information.
However, I do not see the difference with this settings activated. It worked well even without changing them ^^'

Hello,
could someone who has the Assist XL package give me all the settings in the control units 13 and A5, would like to compare them with mine and try them out, if it works for me I will post all the coding here. Because many also report in other forums that it works, none exist but the codings and the ones I've seen only partially work.

Hello everyone,

I just got my obdeleven yesterday and when I connected it I saw I have the modules in the photo. I ordered my car without alarm so does this mean the hardware is there but the alarm function is not activated?

No, if you go into them, you'll see that the pre-requirements are that you have an alarm.

Looks good! Does this also work for non-capacitive steering wheels? Would love to use Travel assist without needing to replace the steering wheel.
