hi, thank you for information. so what about TSR (traffic sign recognition), do i still need hardware?

i found this post, and said the system uses image recognition from the high definition camera which is part of lane assist.

It does but their are different specs. VAG circa 2018 had a period when they stopped enabling it although the hardware was installed. Ateca atleast pre the facelift had a camera spec that could handle it, mine was factory fitted, so there were cars out there where you could turn it on. VAG got too clever and fitted lane assist cameras which didn't support it. Obviously you can't get something for nothing..

How Leon 4s fit in this I don't know but did come across a VW owner that didnt have the correct lane assist camera that was asking on the Seatcupra site. If you get someone with the part number and possibly firmware release of the lane assist camera with factory fitted TSR and compare with yours. Comes out of Obdeleven etc. VAG can also turn off stuff that goes beyond coding in our terms, then you are stuck if it's that. Rear electric tailgate is an Ateca one of these. Swap codes.

thank you It's a good idea to find the part number of a vehicle with TSR capability. First of all, I want to know all the features that can be provided without hardware. Then I will buy the equipment from europe. Hardware prices in Turkey as same as a leon prices on abroad, cause of $ currency )

You need to have pro on OBDeleven and can turn the light off through adaptions.

Just don't turn it on? It's disabled by default

I think that's an early problem. Some people tried to change their colours and got stuck on one. Russian roulette. The message was don't mess with your ambient lights.

If you only got lights in the doors, I think that you can only get red and white because of the led strip

I reckon they had a choice of two colours but only got one after they fiddled with it. What was being reported early on. Needs proper rgd led strip in it to give a full range of colours.

Then it might be the firmware in some of the cars. They got stuck on white as I recall after they changed from the solid colour. Obviously if you are using micropayment app rather than coding you are at the mercy of who wrote that code. You can always back out if what you did yourself if you changed it yourself if the firmware reflects the changes.

Do you also have the cornering lights turned off when the engine goes out in mHEV?
It is annoying, because when you turn in low speed, you usually release the gas pedal and then the mHEV turns off the engine and... turns off the cornering light.

Might be a Swap code thing which is beyond obd and vcds. VAG holding the upgrade keys to its chest. I know there was displeasure posted up on getting stuck not on the colour they were on after obd tinkering.

I think some modules are unlocked such as the ones above, some do require a password but this might change in the future.



I didn't need to spend any credits as you do the long coding rather than the apps. But to do long coding you need to have the pro version activated, can buy the basic reader then buy the pro code separate rather then the pro kit which is more expensive

Does the seat leon FR with pack L (from France) get the capacitive steering wheel ?
As if I approach a blank line, the steering wheel will make car go the center again.
I would like the travel assist, I saw that I maybe need to buy a capacitive steering wheel, and then buy OBDeleven to add the code.
But I can't find a steering wheel and I don't know the approximate price (I'm in France).
