Hopefully I (we ;) ) will have it fitted in the next two weeks. Cant wait, I really think its going to be the topping on the cake!

Next I went round my mate Shauns to help him clean his new car , put a new splitter, fabia rear wiper, and some other little bits and bobs and his car is looking mint now. Nice and shiny [B)]

Mani looks spot on mate! Nice one Sam... :)

Also, your mate Shaun looks to have a close platinum sibling LCR to me... Good choice by him!

Get him to do a reader's ride ;)

Yeah I have mentioned to him to get a readers ride going, so I'm sure he will get one up sometime soon.

Polished mani fitted!

Yesterday was an eventful day! Sam came over to help me fit my polished mani, but first we had to pop up the road to the local auto store...and this happened

Poor Sam I was gutted for him, and it all happened so fast we were proly only going 40-50mph max and the bonnett just flew up wrapped itself round the windscreen and hit the roof. Scared the s**t out of us. Hopefully Sam can source a new bonnet soon and he can get it back to normal. Luckily we weren't hurt due to Sams qiuck thinking and good driving. We managed to pull over on the duel carriage way and get the bonnet back down.

Fair play to Sam though he still stuck around all day to help me get my polished mani fitted.

It looks great and I'm over the moon with it! All went well with the fitting except when I started the car when we finished and it ran like a bag of nails! Used the fault reader and one code come up, forgot to plug in cylinder 3 fuel injector properly LOL. Once that was sorted we took it for a spin and since Sam had reset the throttle body for me with his VAG com the car felt so much smother.

So big thanks to Sam for polishing the mani and helping me fit it! Top bloke once again!

Thanks Tom makes it worth the work with comments like that :D. Hasnt taken to long to get it looking good just a lot of spare time and an empy bank acccount LOL. Ive just set myself a monthly budget on what i can spend on the car, so its only taken a few months :D. Once you get started on it, it wont be long until yours starts progressing. Its just hard not to spend to much on it every month haha!

Cheers mate really happy with it! When you fitting yours then?

Hopefully soon! Got alot more to sort with my car than originally planned a few months ago. Plus being out of work changed my priorities a bit.

Start the new job tomorrow, so give it a month or so the car will be seeing nice updates once more :)
