Probably an infotainment software upgrade? If so I would be interested to know what version it is updated to. Mine is on 1896 and my dealer tells me there is no update flagged for my car and I know from this and other forums that there are already 1898 and 1899 versions out there.Just had a message to say my car is due for a software upgrade at the dealers. It due a service within the next month anyway so I guess I'll get it done. Anyone know anything about it?

Absolutely, I have a local Cupra dealer that updated me to 1896 in May last year. No issues to speak of since. What I do know is, to get that done, will have to be a proper cupra dealer. Aka not a seat one. Seat dealers will only do servicing.
Hope that helps
Well yes, that what it says. The infotainment is pretty much the heart of the car and where folk are having issues. Mine's on 1896 too. Just wondering if this is the 'BIG' fix that everyone's been on about 🫰 and hoping for?Probably an infotainment software upgrade? If so I would be interested to know what version it is updated to. Interesting, thanks for that . Version 1900 is certainly news to me. I just hope this is the fix for those having problems. We shall see!On the spanish forum, 2 peoples got their new car with the new version 1900 : https://www.clubcupraformentor.com/threads/actualizacion-1900.3111/
I'm made because I went to the dealer last week and they only put the 1898, not the 1899
I have been told the same and I run 1896, the dealers just come across clueless when I query about thisProbably an infotainment software upgrade? So, you've had the text message too? I'll be contacting my Cupra dealer next week for this update and service. I'll report back on their reply. I must admit at being a bit apprehensive as I've no real issues with mine on 1896 at the mo. A case of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" !I have been told the same and I run 1896, the dealers just come across clueless when I query about this
No sorry I haven’t had a text, I was agreeing with BobN27 when he said the dealer told him there was no current update for his car, I was told the same when I rang and enquired about mineSo, you've had the text message too? Good news that it's in the UK now (I assume you're in the UK?)Well, I can confirm that 1900 exists as I have just taken delivery (15.03 ) of a 310 VZ2 with this version. Very early days, but glitch free....so far!
Thanks! Loving it so far, and yes, I'm UK based, so the 1900 update seems at least to be going into the latest new builds.Good news that it's in the UK now (I assume you're in the UK?)
Mine's in on 27th March for its service and the software upgrade. They didn't say which version though, but I was told there's a recall to have the battery module replaced too (mine's a hybrid). Apparently that will take half a day on its own. I will report back soon.
Enjoy the 310 ColB
Looks like software is not the only thing updated in the new builds.....OK, so I've just fetched my car back after it's service at the Cupra dealer. They did the infotainment update and battery module replacement (on a recall) as well.
The infotainment is now version 1899. I've not noticed any difference from 1896 so far.

It seems like 1900 is not yet available as an update but is installed on some new models as stated in the thread further up.
Ah yes, hardware changes too. Makes sense that a 2 year younger car would have the latest hardware and software. Hopefully you'll not see any of the issues we've seen on earlier builds!Looks like software is not the only thing updated in the new builds.....
