Hey,

New here, signed up looking for some helpful advice :)

Recently purchased a new 13 plate Ibiza FR 1.2TSI in Speed Blue, which apparently is a rare colour for this plate as they no longer do them?

Absolutely loving the car (previous was a 1L Yaris ) only issues are the MPG isnt quite what I hoped, although its only done 800miles so far and my commute is 3-4miles :p

I'm currently considering the following mods/upgrades but unsure where to start really.
Budget is a little tight, but I don't want to be a halfords boy racer!

*ECU Remap - voids warrenty so maybe chip kit?
*Dark rear window tints - Done
*White LED bulb replacements - Done - Philips Blue Vision Ultra
*Dark side repeater replacement - Done - Actually went for crystal clear ebay specials
*Suspension lowering
*Spoiler
*Door sill protectors - Done - Tuning-Art black alu :)

Would like to know if anyone knows any good garages local to the Worcester area that to any of the above?

I would add some pics but seems there is a rule :(

Welcome to the forum, may see you around the worcester area .

The car has done 800 miles so still in break in phase. Also work the mpg out by hand on fuelly.com to get better results. Also your commute 3-4 miles is not getting everything upto temp. My commute is about 12 miles and 9 of them the car just got up to temp. So I'll do an average of 31mpg according to the obd. However drive to Cornwall averaged 38mpg.

*remap is a grey area ill wait for someone to answer that better.
*The dlr mods make a car look cheap in my eyes so I wouldn't bother. You also should have dlrs already?
*White led's are popular and a good mod. I've done it to mine and used the following without any issues:

There's a specialist Vag place in malvern: http://volkswagen-audi-mechanic.co.uk/. But most of the above can be done at home.

never believe the manufacturers mpg claims !! and with any mod expect to void your warranty on that part and any related parts.

Don't expect the mpg to get much better as it runs in; my 1.2 TSI has done about 45 mpg average ever since it was new!

DLR's arent standard on the FR, but the positioning of the standard ones aren't really to my liking anyway.
I did get 47mpg on a trip back from Lincolnshire, didn't barely go over 70mph though.. not much fun ;)
I get about 28-32 on my commute, depending how late I am :p

ps. Thanks for the links

I got my doors sills off ebay, paid £50 for brushed aluminium ones.

Would recommend a spoiler if budget can stretch.

Yeah I was just looking at them after seeing them pop up on a few cars on this forum, they look very nice, but the cost of purchasing one and getting it painted is a little steep.

If anyone has a link to a site that sells them at a reasonable price and would know where to get it primed/sprayed it would be most helpful :)
(or do people get them direct from stealerships?)

Looks good, mine should arrive on weds :)
I was tempted by the FR ones but i think they were a little too tacky, so opted for the black.

As I can now post images, heres is one just after a clean yesterday,

Dunno why the headlamps look tinted, they arent. Wish I had ordered the Xenon's now really, seen a few around with the led trim around them, looks mean
