I have just recently tried installing LED sidelights, but have only managed to get the ones on the inner side of my headlamps to work, the LED's on the outer side show hyper flashing even though I have a load resistor installed? Any ideas?

~ cheers

Does it bring a bulb warning on the dash??

By load resistor, do you mean the bulbs have one built in, or have you added one yourself??

Have you tried swapping the bulbs around, is it perhaps bad bulbs??

It does bring a bulb warning sign on the dash and I got load resistors with the LEDs that I've put in after. There's no point swapping the bulbs cause they both flash and I don't have any more LEDs for comparison :(

09 plate, the strange thing is the inner bulbs work fine, I have no idea why the outer ones flicker

I think that our seats have a CANBUS system built in so you must get a CANBUS LED bulb or they won't work correctly and bring up a fault on the drivers dash so could be that?

Ohhh cheers so I should get canbus ?

If you have LEDs you will need to get CANBUS LED lamps for them to work properly, however I use osram intense blue halogens and they work fine

If you have a load resistor I don't see why normal LED's won't work. As Can bus LED's have the load resistor installed.

You have a load resistor on every LED right?? All 4??

As Jakepearce97 said, you can get "white" bulbs instead, not as bright but same effect.

Yeah if you have the resistor it shouldnt make a difference I agree with propane94 he knows what he's talking about! And yes the white bulbs aren't quite as bright but not really a huge difference so if you continue having a problem I would recommend getting the osrams night breakers if you want brightness, or even the Phillips blue visions however they're a bit more costly.
