That’s good to know mate thanks, I was under the impression you needed the map pipe, but if you don’t, then great, I can always retro fit it.
I got quote today for a forge FMIC in Ireland and they wanted €678 for it, that’s with a discount which is ridiculous IMO, that’s way to much money, I know people bang on about after sales support and R&D but come on, this is all tried and tested technology. I have the below shopping list made up which should see me thru!

1. FMIC
http://www.toyosports.co.uk/fmic-ffront-mount-turbo-intercooler-type-r-550x225x64mm-6699-955-p.asp

2. 45 degree silicon 63 to 57mm long reducers x 2
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Silicone-Hose...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item588436e458

3. 63mm alloy pipes 90 degree elbow X 4
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Alloy-Bend-90...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item518e6b8d8c

4. Silicone coupler X 5
http://www.toyosports.co.uk/silicone-hose-coupler-64mm-25--heavy-duty-clamps-499-559-p.asp

5. Joist strap of some kind X 2
6. Washers and bolts 8mm

I will use the forge guide for removing the bumper etc..

just dont forget 1 60mm silicon coupler for the map pipe mate and your away when fitting the cooler it will sit just behind the crash bar with the top just sitting under the slam pannel cross piece, this will be the correct height to get the bumper back on, just leave a fingers gap between the cooler and rad, also rough up all the pipe so the silicon coupler has something to grab, also dont worry about pipes blowing of as mine havent and holds boost perfect hope all goes well mate will expect a few pics when done lol :D if you need any help just drop us a message mate

The inlet/outlet for the cooler is 57mm(2.25") and that is what the 63mm to 57 mm reducers are for, so from the cooler(57mm) to the piperwork(63mm).

And i wrong?

No your not wrong just seems a bit strange to go to all the hassle of a FMIC then having a bottle neck effect in it, especially when you can buy a cooler with the correct inlet and outlet to start with :)

I wasn't saying it wouldn't work I was just saying you could buy one with 2.5" inlet and outlet so less of a restriction......wish I hadn't bothered now :cartman:

Thanks Adam, i see what you are saying and if i can find one that has the 2.5" in/oulet with the same dimensions as the one harty used then i will purchase it.

Harty, i am starting to think you are addicted to air filters, you already increased Jetex's business about 800% before christmas cause of the Jetex induction kit thread that seemed to stem form your kit,

I am still awestruck on how you are getting 225g/s, the most i have ever got is 206g/s and this was with the Jetex, fair play to you.

Also changed the stance again, i put some stretch on the front and lowered the whole car, it really makes the BBS CH look 10 times better with the stretch and they now hug the arch's very well with less rubbing.:D
I'll get pictures up when we get a dry day.

Can't wait to get stuck into my, "Fook Me Its Cold" project"

My catch tank arrived yesterday, just need to pick it up from the post office.

harty190486 –*Where you've mounted yours, I've got a black plastic 'thing'. Any idea what this could be and do I remove it?

its a relay mate it all comes apart without disconnecting anything mate, all i did was take this apart remove the case which just pulls out when you push the tab on the back, when the relay and base is clear and on its own the cable runs into the the balck casing, just hide the relay and base in there mate and put the lid on then mount your catch can there as low as you can mate fixing the catch can bracket to the car with self drilling screws if you were local would of give you a hand mate
