yeah i know what you mean mate, if only i knew what i know now back when i had my yellow mk2, that was mint apart from the chavvy wheels i had. only a 1.4sport but it had no rust at all. 20vt in there would of been nice!

Ha we all make mistakes, I still have my mistake wheels in the garage gathering dust.
Just not worth throwing money into a £1200 car. I'm still not sure i'll be able to let it go though, thinking of keeping it at uni instead of the gti due to rising petrol costs and letting my mum potter around in that for a year instead

Well I have 25mm Adapters on the back and 20mm on the front. Thing is the wheels are et52 so the back wheels aren't spaced as much as the standard rims with my 15mm spacers. Could do with a little bit more poke on the back I think.
Have to go outside and take them off now, while I wait for my locking wheel nuts to be delivered
