Turbo to charge pipe hose, i've reconnected it with a new jubilee and taken it out tonight but it's still trying to lift it off the turbo.

Will have a proper look at it during the week, apart from that it's all good :) clutch survived the trip home aswell ;)

hmmm. that hose felt 'soft' to me when I removed it and put it back on.. the previous clip was shagged, so nearest next size I had I stuck on.. I did'n tlike the way it was so soft tho, seemed more soft than others I have come across.

mikalor clamp on there should hold it good and proper.

Hose does look like it's seen better days so i may just get a new one and be done with it.

that hose sounds like the same one that split on my LCR.

Standard seat one is about £85, but Forge so a silicone one for about £65 I think ;)

Edit: make that £60.... http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?inc=product&cat=190202SILH&product=FM225TH

Already got the forge one on it Andy, looks like it'll be getting another one soon though

More work done :)

I finally got round to sorting a couple of bits on the car so thought i'd update the thread.

Firstly big thanks go out to Forge for replacing the turbo-charge pipe hose i'd been having issues with, new hose and clamps fitted and all is well, as always the customer service is second to none from these guys :)

Next on the list was to sort the clutch as it had started to slip in all gears, can't imagine why though

After alot of reading and searching i decided to go for a Sachs racing clutch, the main choice for this was because i have a supplier 5 mins from work so i got a good deal but also "if" i should have any problems hopefully they can be resolved quickly.

The clutch is rated to 520nm (383lbft) so should be adequate for the setup i'm running, but i guess only time will tell if i've made the right choice.

I got the clutch fitted yesterday so am currently taking it easy to bed it in before any full boost launches etc, initial impressions are good although the pedal does feel like a proper valver again as it's become rather heavy to what i'm now used to.

Managed to get a few pics of the downpipe while the box was out so here they are.

Awesome Roly nice to here Forge replaced your turbo-charge pipe hose. Was good seeing this round Cadwell Park last year. You doing Caddy again this year or next year ?

Doubt i'll be doing Cadwell again this year, there's a possibility of oulton park at the end of the year but that's it for now, apart from germany in a months time :)

When i get a chance i'll have a dig around and see what i can spare
