New door bars in and padded where req'd - getting in and out is not dignified:doh: gaffer tape is their to give it support and bea a little more hard wearing than just the bare foam.
Fitted a new gear knob which has done bugger all to the throw even if you fit a short knob - it'll be the same.

The other Pro Series seat turned up, that'll be going in as soon as my subframe is back from the powdercoaters

cant decide where to mount the fire extinguisher, it cant go in the cabin thats for sure:shrug:

gearknob will make a difference stu, as for the extinguisher, why is the cabin out? surely under the passenger footwell maybe with a kickboard hinged over it would be well hidden away?

The new one is only half inch lowere than the std knob, I'd have to chop down the shaft of the lever to get any real gains

2 litres? crumbs, youre going well prepared! what about two smaller units, you could mount them onto the backs of the seats, are they going to be sliding seats or the full monty?
as for the gear knob, ill try and get a pic of the one i bought, it was around 2 1/2 inches long and basically took around 2 1/4 of the shaft up into its arse so made a real difference.

no point putting it behind the seats - by the time you've unbuckled, climbed out, climbed back in again kneeling on the seats to get the extinguisher, released it, jumped back out you might want to be well away.

under knee's is easy access - even under your own knees to be honest
