Took the Leon for first MOT yesterday (since I have owned it) no faults or failings tester was well impressed and said "I wish all the cars that came in for testing were this clean " made me smile

Tester called me under the car to show me the nearside hand brake cable plastic sheath was starting to split and would allow water in causing cable failiure at some point - he suggested drying cable off on reasealing with duct tape or similar

anyway happy now :D

emmision were very low 0.06 with a limit of 3 (not sure the unit the measure in) - brakes 89% efficient

only downside is realising the milage in a year
old MOT reads 70972 Miles
new MOT reads 94735 Miles

23763 Miles in 12 months

and then working this out:(

23763 miles
50 mpg
110.9 pence/Litre

This journey would cost you £2396.08 in fuel

Well done on passing the MOT with flying colours. I hate MOT time!

Never nice working things out like that. I prefer to try and not think about them, as the yearly cost of running a car is ridiculous!

If we were asked to pay up front what it costs to run a car in a year I'm sure most of us would say no. Yet when it's spread over the year, we're ok with it. Madness!

You can get new pipes and seals for the standard intercooler setup. Think in totality it costs around £60-70 quid including seals, hoses and clips.

I saw a black FR with a carbon S fitted to the grill yesterday, looked pretty good.

I only think it works with a black car though, not to keen on it with any other colour of car.

Could be waiting a long time for pics then
