Hi everybody. It's my first post here and if everything will go well I will take my Cupra from the dealership tomorrow. Unfortunately as I have seen my Leon is the 2015 MY (lack of rear armrest) :(. Generally the changes are not so important for me (like USB etc.) but something which you quoted few posts above stucked me for a moment. It's about the steering wheel and "new Nappa leather in all trims" in 2016 MY. Does the 2015 MY Cupra have already the Nappa leather on the steering wheel and the other trims (like FR or Style) have something worse or this Nappa leather will be the new feature even for Cupra?

Regards

No, she has an Octavia so the leather they use in one brand of VW group is deaf different to another. Hers is a more shiny leather not as soft as the one in the Leon.

There's a new English-language brochure

What's not clear is whether any of these functions will be available on other models - or whether the Leon Connect will be sold in the UK.

My saleman at dealer said today this is obviously international an brochure and knew nothing of the 'Connect'

He does know about SEATs up and coming cross over cars

Interesting though if you look carefully the extra aux in is shown in the central cubby in views of the dash. This is needed for the mirror link, or whatever they are calling it on Leons, to work

I don't have an extra aux in, in the central cubby. I have mirror link.

Have a USB and 3.5mm jack socket in the glove box to the left of the CD and SD slots.

i don't like the configuration of where those connectors are (or will be.) my current phone fits nicely in that cubby but it wouldn't with that space occupied. what i like about the current input position for mirrorlink is that it allows the phone and the cable to be hidden out of sight. this just promotes clutter :)

Agreed. Slight improvement would be to have them on the right of the glove box, ie the middle of the car more so, rather than left. Maybe this is because of left hookers and they don't hand it for the right hand drive market like the bonnet pull.

Just checked with my storage pack my cubby hole is covered with a hindged lid :p

lol :) it does make the centre console look tidier and considering the dashboard looked the same i was disappointed to find it missing until i'd read a thread about problems with it breaking [not opening] and thought at least it's one less thing to go wrong (sorry to mention.) hope SEAT have sorted the troubles. i would provide a link but i can't find it. tbf it might not even have been on this forum.

Oh right news to me, we shall see. I thought it was going to be the twin cup holder that would become closeable like my Golf was. No pictures shown of course.

Really interesting thread, I'm about to order a new car for September but I'm going to hold off until I get can get a MY16. The mirror link and bigger Nav Screen is definitely worth holding off for.
It take it nobody knows when the order books open?

It relates to build week of week 22 on i think, (22nd of May) rather than order week. So now onwards in other words.
MirrorLink has been an option prior to MY2016, hence I've got it.

I am thinking of adding the sound system to mine as I've got BOSE in my Exeo. Is it worth it?

I've had her less than a day so can't really answer that one! Not something i would have chosen unless the basic sound was useless, came with the Nav high.
