Call me easily pleased :) - But I love these sorts of gadgets! I hope they are available via a software update / VCDS config change...

+1. I think that there should be all necessary sensors already in the build cars.

Build week 22 onwards will be MY2016 according to my dealer.

My Cupra 280 was build week 21 so has promptly been cancelled an re-ordered. :(

I was told MY16 would be available to order Build week 22.

To be honest, the price differences that were played back to me seemed disproportionate to the change in specification.

How much is the increase then? Still waiting on confirmation of my new pricing.......

My order will be my16 but dealer days I won't be hit by the price rise as ordered before it was announced

I was told that the base car price has changed by ~1200, there is also some "simplification" of packages that can be added to the car, I think I was told the assistance pack and the safety pack are combining and will be more expensive as a result (specifically as I didn't opt for the safety pack)

Just ordered mine a few minutes ago at the old price. My dealer doesn't know yet what's going to happen, he said the range is being simplified and expects new prices but SEAT UK haven't yet advised.

Personally, I think nobody will get a MY16 until new prices have been announced. New spec = New price

As I am leasing the car I have just been informed my new order has been placed, with no increase in the monthly rentals!

MY16 is build week 22 onwards as it Is pretty much every year for VAG. Regardless of how clued up the dealer network is, any cars build from this week are MY16. It isn't something you can wait for considering the production changes required.

Those clued will have timed their orders specifically for this, others not so clued or who don't particularly care not so much.

If the price has risen then I hope they honour you at the lower price.

Couple of other things I noticed on the options price list:

- Safety Pack Plus - says £100 or £141 + VAT for them but the totals are £500+. Also not entirely sure why the Cupra pays extra to gain less functionality...
- Currently the SatNav High includes the Sound Pack, now there's no mention of it

I think that that the £100 and £20 VAT are misprints - they haven't been updated from the previous pricelist. Similarly the Cupra version prices haven't been updated.

The Safety Pack Plus seems to combine the previous Safety Pack 1 (which cost £120), Driver Assist Pack (which cost £455) and LED interior pack (which cost £65). So you're getting £640 of options for £520 - which is good, if you want all of them.

Another mistake I've noticed, is that Climate Control is listed as an option for SE models in the options table, but they haven't given a price for it.

Looks like the Cupra has the option of alcantara seats without the white accents.
Is that correct or a misprint? Would be good if it's right. I think they look a bit cheap. :(

One of the worst bits of the car imho... if i had the option of no white stripes without going for nasty leather i would have done.

Just to mention that the Configurator on the Seat.co.uk has been updated and now includes all the MY16 prices and options. The price list PDF is still the old April version though...

I have just configured my car and noticed the following:

1) Monsoon Grey is no cost option although it's metallic?

2) Tech Pack is now chargeable at least on the FR

3) Convenience pack has changed and is now more expensive

4) 18" Performance alloys have gone up

5) Space saver spare has gone up

Overall prices seem to have gone up for everything but not a consistent percentage

Okay have had a little play based on my FR SC original order back in Jan and the differences that i can see are:

Fabric seats, only 1 colour choice
Space Saver - £105 - doesnt appear to be the option to choose size
Tech Pack - £1082 - no discount
Parking Sensors - £275 - pretty sure these were free before
Con Pack includes a few LEDS in the interior

And a few price hikes - biggest change no Tech Pack Discount (yet)!

If you go on the configurator url on JK1's post and then use this to build your car Monsoon Grey is definately showing as a no cost option, Red is no cost all others have an extra cost.
