624 miles to got then thats my 1000 i can get my old pal boost back again!!
all is going good driving well still seams to be puting up a fault with my 2nd lambda its pissing me off!! ill get it sorted..

Yep. And advice! Why would getting straight init and canning it straight away be good for a freshly rebuilt engine? Modern or not! Ive had plenty of engines rebuilt in my jap days and always been told by pro's to run it in before giving it death.

Short of it is that you don't want to go too mad or the oil will thin around the bores enough to glaze them. Too little and the same will happen.

Use the gears to brake, you should be using mineral oil for breaking in, do 20-30 miles and ditch the oil. Re-fill with more mineral do another 450 odd miles with gradually harder driving and then fill up with fully synth oil and it will be run in.
