took my floor back out an put the seats back in for now see how it goes got my harnesses running in to the my seatbelt bolts under the seats look nice a neat.

Looks dangerous to me. You get in a crash and that will crush your shoulders, doing more damage to you than a standard belt.

I got them to the rear seat points, was going to be a temp measure but since i cant be arsed to get a harrness bar fitted theyve said in that place for about 3 years. lol.

I've got mine to the rear seat belt mounting points in the boot

Will, your's aren't great tbh, they want to snag towards the outside of the car putting excess strain on the inner part of the seats & your shoulders where the should straps go through.

It's quite interesting that the feds don't do more about the mounting of harnesses, I think it's a bit of a grey area. Alex told me that the release buckle should also be red, something to do with the fire brigade needing to know what to press to release the harnesses in a crash situation.

Was just chatting to my old man he's in to the old rally car mk1-2 escorts an they bolt to the floor or in rear seat belt mounts. Cheers for the heads up guy I'll h e a better look when this engine is in!!

i badly want new seats for mine!! im 6"3 lol and standard seats are farrr to high :( and not the comfiest either tbh! looking forward to seeing your car built back up mate you must be missing it
