Think some of the mk2 vario tdi's came with black door cards, they still had lairy coloured paterns but could always retrim that bit, all the vario mk3's i've seen had grey trim but black ones are available from seat (mega money tho)

got rid of the cupra r this weekend. good to see it go!

i also managed to fit the cupra ARB, power steeing rack, coilovers, the cupra hubs, new balljoints, abs unit, all the stock brake lines and the gear linkage mech.

im going to fit my g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch this week. then i just need to run the engine bay loom and im then ready to fit the engine!!!

forgot to add that ive started modding already. picked up a red sfs tip today love it.
ive ran a forge and samco tip and i have to say the sfs is far better. being wire re-inforced its solid

also bought another project totlay different tho. a robinhood kit car, like a lotus 7/ cateram/westfeild!!
will also be 1.8t powered

i had a wire reinforced samco TIP,careful the wire doesn't come out and bite you.it went rusty on mine and stuck out of the end

also had a cupra d/s headlight turn up yesterday along with a slam panel

me ol chum alex from Backdraft sorted me a bonnet also

just need d/s wing and a rad now

getting meself a k03s and high flow manifold with in the next week. also looking into head porting for the near future.

took rear beam off today and the mk3 one is different to the mk2 one. im going to change the hubs so its the mk3 set up tho.

roly. what did you do about relay and fuse box mounting under the dash as the mounts are different?

I have a feeling the stub axles mount differently....

should mount up the same at the body shell end though (if you fit the mk3?)

I think 1 maybe 2 of the holes lined up on mine, i used them and then moddified the bracket so it all sat as it did in the mk3

Fuse box bolts to dash as im sure you know so you'll be fine with that if your still using mk3 dash

mork. rear beam is the same apert from the mounts. mk3 is about 1" thicker !!

mork, hubs change over fine. you had me worried.

also rear beam is 1" thicker by the main beam bush. i wire wheeled the whole beam and repainted it. looks loads better. was really rusty and flaky.

got all the coilovers on now. sitting nice and low...well front is high due to the engine not being in.

been working on the blue cupra so progress is slow
