Hardest part on mine was trying to feed the loom into the tailgate!

Looking forward to seeing it all finished.

wheres ben when you need him lol

Welding wire and brake pipe are your best mate for the tailgate loom, also taking the connectors off so only the wiring and pins are left makes threading it through easier.

Rest of the looms plug and play, although your mating the 2 together in places so could be fun

It's not too bad - I stripped an aftermarket out of my 16v loom - you're far better off without it.

Check the main wires to & from the barrel lock to see what's been cut into

it'll be boring wire tracing to find the one that was cut into, and going into the alarm.

shame I'm away a lot over the next few weeks, otherwise I'd come and do it for you

found a fault code in airbag section....

00595 crash data present.

looks like i need a new airbag module!!??

how easy are they to break as i had the car running before i stripped it so i guess it didnt happen in the accident!? not sure if i dropped it or not:shrug:

also are they plug and play as i may try my ibiza one!?

thanks for the offer mork....you must be missing the vario lol:D

thinking about it i dont htink its the problem..

i have continuity from fuel pump relay to the ecu (signal wire)

the main live is live

earth is good.

the 4th wire on the relay, according to the wiring diagram goes to crash sensor t9a/8

anyone know what that is?

I think that when you have a crash and the airbags fire - it cuts the fuel pump connection.

I guess you either need to hold it high or low....

Connect it to +12V or Earth (high/low)

depends what the other side of the relay connects to (have you got a pic of the FP relay with the diagram printed on it?)
