Try:

Byte 00 = Hex 04
Byte 01 = Hex 73
Byte 02 = Hex 82
Byte 17 = Hex 01
Byte 18 = Hex 01

I'm looking at this thread and this post:

Useful. This shows I think the coding.

The thread was about Cupra Ateca standard mib2 which was fitted to non Europeans models. They just had a missing image but never the less it goes over the key parameters. I passed the VCDS into OBDEleven to get the Ateca Cupra graphics but that image on the thread is the key coding. Needs a little bit of computer science to pass those strings and get the OBDEleven codes... as I recall... I stretched to it :ROFLMAO:.

It's this image on that thread... 5F8 is being shown:

that was also my thought, that the graphics are missing or maybe corrupt.

Try:

Byte 00 = Hex 04
Byte 01 = Hex 73
Byte 02 = Hex 82
Byte 17 = Hex 01
Byte 18 = Hex 01

You are right. Byte 02 was the problem and i must softreset every time.

but i'm confused.
I had found this pic and there is 047302 for ST Cupra.

In my case 02 is the standard 5-door and 82 is the Cupra ST.
But now its the Facelift shown.

Has anybody a correct list for Byte 02? Is there a the value for pre Facelift Model?

1447 came in as the last mib2 high firmware circa 2019, it was really for that model range at that time. The question one suspects is how far back did they put old images in the library if this wasn't an area the mib2 enthusiasts didn't back fit images. Suspect 2018 on to 2020 would be your lot. Target cars would be where Seat intended to fit the mib2 high.

Hello everyone, I hope someone can help me here and thank you in advance.
I installed the update MHI2_ER_SEG11_P4709_1_AIO_MU1447 on my Cupra Ateca.
Unfortunately, there was an error during installation that Gracenote wasn't installed correctly.
So I installed the latest Gracenote version again.

Unfortunately, I can't install any navigation data now. The navigation system is stuck on "Retrieving navigation data." The system information says Navigation data: N/A. When I try to install the latest maps, the error "Communication with device" NavDB_Check appears. I'm attaching pictures. Does anyone have any advice?

I suspect it's missing the navigation FeCs. You could try:

This tool allows the FeCs to be written if it finds the appropriate module to graft itself onto via the green menu. So as long as you got that. It will take over from there.

Basically the AIO is 1447 with the tool kit and other files grafted on. AIO came last. Before that 1447 as is un modded and you'd use the toolkit to write the FeCs. I've used the toolkit once under guidance from the experts and told other people to use it at times.

If you check your FeCs I suspect you are down on the lifelong FeC. You do also need to load the maps in after 1447 AIO as I recall. No maps loading, then check the navigation FeC. The Mr Bonk stuff details all the FeCs.

Thanks for your help. I've already checked the FEC. For Seat, you need 073000EE for Seat EU Maps - Lifetime and 00040100 for navigation. Both can be found in the system menu under installed FEC codes. Therefore, there must be some other problem.

Feels like trying it again. Failing that plain 1447 and the mib tools. Feels like the script is wrong for 1447AIO. A bug might have got into it. There is a Telegram channel on Mr Bonk I recall. All the same people. I referred people for assistance on it before. @mibwiki who we haven't seen for sometime suggested that before.

So, should I try installing the standard 1447 again? Is there anything I should keep in mind? Or can I downgrade to an older version?

I'd try 1447AIO again in case you took the wrong turning. I don't think Grace notes is important.

If that fail try 1447 plain. Then the mib2 high Mr Bonk over it.

The backend menu, swdl will allow you to over install previews firmware on mib2 high. The normal front menu won't. You have to play with the button presses to select ALL. Always tricky to explain how that works. A long hold on the menu button on the second opening of the menu (if the developers menu enabled which I think 1447aio does or do via a coding device) takes you to the SWDL menu. Then you dance your fingers around that to download all... which means load all which is taken as a complete overwrite.
