Mashburns Flash Red LCR *Now ready for stage 2!*

Since changing to an open cone filter, i decided that i wanted to fit a heatshield.

I phoned Jabbasport on Wednesday afternoon and i had my self a nice new shiney heatshield by Thursday! It was £65 and came with fitting instructions (including a large photo)! The quality is awesome, and the service from Jabba even better.

Looking good mash, I've always preferred the Jabba heat shields although looking at your pic I don't know wether it'd fit under an S3 strut brace without being altered. Oh, and of course Vag-Com logging duties now fall into your hands, lol.

I think your right about the brace aswell. Although I'm sure it will fit with a little gentle persuasion!

Might get one ordered next weekend.

I dont know how to do logs Jon. I've tried and failed in the past and cant be bothered to try again!

Engine bay almost there now. My polished Neuspeed power steering and washer bottle caps arrived from Awesome, and i picked my Forge engine cover up this morning.
Just 2 more purchases and i'll be happy with it!

There's 2 Neuspeed caps and 2 Forge caps. The Neuspeed ones are the washer bottle and power steering, which is the black cannister thingy!
They were about £35 each.

I had a parcel arrive from Race Diagnostics this week!

What a PITA it was to fit though! My mate did most of the work and it took alot of filing/sanding to get the mount to fit in the vent. And i nearly had kittens when he took the dremmel to it!!

I'm well impressed with it though, very good bit of kit and well chuffed that it displays oil temp, as the 210 LCR's were thougt to not have an oil temp sensor.

The mount is the one from Race Diagnostics, you just romove the slats from your air vent and push it inside. But for some reason the mount is ALOT bigger than the vent, and you need to shave a good amount off it to make it fit.

I presume that its accurate. I have nothing to compare the readings with, but since it plugs into the ODB port then it should be just as accurate as vagcom.

It does look really good in the car and its nice having all those functions available at the click of a button.

Fitted an S3 strut brace to the car today, so i see that as a very good excuse for some more engine bay shots!
I've decided thats it now for the bay...FINISHED!!
